The Nieto brothers were also founders of Mission San Gabriel Arcangelico. Theranchos were granted to other families over time, including the Garces family. In 1853, it was bought by José Joaquín de Urquiza and sold to Francisco Aventino y Costilla. In 1875, it was acquired by Carlos Schleicher and sold to Fernando Woodson.
