Inland Empire Boulevard runs east-west through the heart of town, bisecting it north-south at an angle from Indian Hill Road to its southern tip at State Route 147 (formerly US 101). Inland Empire Boulevard also forms two major intersections: one with State Route 9A (former US 101) near Interstate 5 and one with State Route 126 ( formerly SR 237) near Disneyland Resort. I-5 and SR 9A are both within a few blocks of each other whileSR 137 lies just outside the city limits but connects to I-5 via SR 145 about 2 miles south of downtown before splitting off again into 4 lanes for about .6 miles until terminating at Harbor Front Airport in Marina del Rey which has an international airport serving only LAX and includes runways 8/24 and 11/29! Highway 127 borders Interstate 5 across town but does not enter it; instead it joins US 101 eastbound about 3 blocks northwest of its intersection with Inland Empire Boulevard before splitting off northeastward once again for .3 miles until intersecting Mare Island Avenue just inside the city limits whereupon HR 127 rejoins I-5 concurrent with SB 10
