The history of firearms in Rancho Cucamonga dates back to the 1800s. The area was originally populated by Native Americans, and there are references to gun powder being used in the area as early as 1793. One of the first people to live in Rancho Cucamonga was José Joaquín de Alcalá, who founded Rancho Cucamonga on November 5, 1824. When California became a state in 1850, Alcalá's ranch became part of Rancho Santa Anita. In 1875, a group of investors bought Alcalá's remaining land and formed the city of Rancho Cucamonga. Rancho Cucamonga continued to be a center for agriculture until after World War II when it began taking on an industrial role. During this time, many mills were built in the town including those that produced aluminum cans and airplane parts. However, since industry left behind a large number of abandoned buildings and factories throughout North County (which includes Rancho Cucamonga), it is difficult to determine exactly how many guns were manufactured in Rancho Cucamonga during its heyday as an arms manufacturing town. In 1984, Rancho Cucamonga enacted Ordinance No. 4983 which banned handguns from most public areas within the city limits except for police precincts and military installations underwritten by the government or another agency thereof. At that time only shotguns were allowed without permit indoors or outdoors while rifles could only be possessed with a permit from handgun-hatters organizations registered with county sheriff’s office). Gun mags were exempted from this ordinance but still had to be stored unloaded outside at all times inside cities/counties where they were not regulated by law (i.e., San Bernardino County). Rancho Cucamonga lies on the eastern edge of the city of San Bernardino and has a rich agricultural history dating back to 1874 when it was part of Rancho Gutierrez. The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Rancho Cucamonga were Juan Bautista de Anza and his party on July 24, 1769. They named their new land El Cerrito del Oro because of its abundance of gold ore near present day downtown San Bernardino. For many years there was no permanent resident population as ranchers (and later farmers) came and went from this area until the mid 1800s when European-American settlement began to grow in Northern California. In 1868 Mexico ceded much of southern California including Rancho Cucamonga to America under Treaty #8 which ended the Mexican– American War. On January 30th 1870 American citizens James Ahern and John Shields founded a post office at Rancito Alto (present day Palmdale), which served as an outpost for settlers seeking access to what would become today's towns of Redlands and Lancaster. It wasn't until 1875 that any serious development occurred in rancho cucamonga due largely to difficulties with getting water supplies into the area from nearby mountainsides; however, by 1880 local farmers had constructed wells that became one of the most important sources of irrigation for much of southern San Bernardino County. In 1885 William Fenton purchased 5 acres adjoining Robert Hargrave’s 7 acres within what is now downtown San Bernardino for $3 per acre which allowed him develop what would become known as “Fenton Place”today’s corner building on High Street between Elmira Avenue and Old Town Plaza Drive). This initial development led to increased traffic along El Monte Road due not only to Fenton Place but also because it was adjacent Toombs Air Force Base where aircraft manufacturing took place during World War II. Unfortunately for Fenton he lost control over his holdings after World War I ending military service in Southern California; however he did manage some minor developments around this time such as constructing a garage on High Street north side Of Town plaza Drive where Mineral Wells Casino currently stands today . With more recent exploration discoveries occurring throughoutSouthern CA these days we can expect even more development activity around Rancito Alto with plans underway for hotel/condominium/retail space, additional farmland etc.. Thanksgiving Day services are always held at St Peters Episcopal Church preceded by turkey dinner at home cooked by family members followed by playing games or visiting friends while enjoying pumpkin pies

Afterweed incorporation took place on November 3, 1889 and it had a population of 14 residents. The Town Hall was built in 1893 and it has been used as a public library ever since. In 1928, an electric school building was constructed which served the community until 1960 when it was replaced by a modern school building which still serves as the town hall today. rancosanville is located within Rancho Cucamonga limits and is home to several restaurants, bars, retailers and attractions that make this area one of busiest squares in Northern California!
Rancho Cucamonga was founded in 1846 by Juan Bautista Campos. It became part of the United States in 1850. Rancho Cucamonga was named for Captain John Cucamonga, a military officer who fought in the Mexican-American War and later served as Governor of California.
