Rancho Cucamonga is a rancho located in the San Gabriel Valley of California. By 1898 there were 127 residents living on the rancho; only 21 were Anglo-Americans. Farming began with barley, beans, potatoes and cotton in early years but soon diversified to include other crops such as citrus fruit, grapes and strawberries.
