The first Airgun Club in America was formed at Riverside County Fairgrounds on April 12th 1903 by some friends of John Prentice Hallam who assembled their own kit using old shotguns purchased from fairgoers. It wasn’t until 1907 that a more permanent clubhouse was built with an indoor shooting range/gallery and other amenities which included lessons from local firearms experts as well as matches between clubs from throughout Southern California. From then until World War II there seemed to be no end to the growth or popularity of airguns with people all over America simply unable to keep up with demand! Airgun ownership peaked at just over 1 million rifles in 1945 but slowly began to decline thereafter due mostly to legal issues surrounding unsafe ammunition and lack thereof regulation (see below). In 1943 there finally came a change when Congress passed Senate Bill No 223 which provided for registration badges for both handguns and airguns under the National Firearms Act (NFA). This act placed limits on manufacturing ammo types “which will cause harm or destruction within any structure or device designed or intended for use in firing any firearm …” This law also banned certain types of grenades, rockets, mortar shells etc., making it difficult if not impossible for civilians without proper licensing to purchase these weapons without facing criminal prosecution! Consequently many people turned instead towards pistols which became even more popular during World War II as ammunition became available more cheaply than ever before (see below). Laws governing gun possession changed again following World War II when Congress enacted Gun Control Amendments Of 1949 which prohibited interstate trade in machine guns and other automatic firearms including those used in crime syndicates such as Al Capone etc… The amendment also established federal regulations governing magazine capacities (10 rounds vs 5 rounds) as well as serial numbers etc., making it much harder currently for someone simply interested in owning an airborne rifle/ pistol like an AR15!) In summary today there are approximately 2 million registered Rifles & Shotguns across America alone!! There is no doubt that airguns have played an integral role in American history & culture - whether we realize it or not!

On January 22nd, 1846, Governor Manuel Nieto Signed Act 666 which granted ranching rights to Francisco Pico and his brother Antonio Maria Pico for 999 years renewable only by virtue of their blood relationship to him. In 1886, three brothers - Hiram Bingham (born December 15th), George Haines (born February 12th) and Lorenzo Martinez (born May 21st) – founded Coalinga Copper Mining Company with plans to prospect for copper mines near Descansado Valley in central San Bernardino County. However, within two years their venture failed due to low copper prices and they sold all their shares back to Hiram Bingham and George Haines for $2 million dollars
