The City of Poway incorporation occurred on February 2, 1916 with a total population of around 100 people. At that time, the city had two businesses: The Post Office and the Dancehall Theatre which only served as fronts until they were bought out by Jardine + Mathews who renamed their business "Poway Playhouse." In 1951, there were plans to move all schools from Rancho San Miguel de las Pulgas to Poway but this idea met resistance from locals because they felt it would impact their community economically while also impacting their scenic views which lay behind Rancho San Miguel de las Pulgas; this issue led to what is known as "The Battle of Powey" when protesters gathered near City Hall demanding that their schools be moved away from town limits while chanting "No more schools! No more poways!" In 1962, founding father of modern day Silicon Valley Gordon Moore visited POWAY during his stay at Stanford University where he attended lectures about computer technology; immediately afterwards he made an investment into Intel Corporation through his friend Irwin Jacobs which later led to Intel's establishment within Silicon Valley itself within years thereafter. This event helped start what would become known as Silicon Valley - an effort among tech entrepreneurs throughout various industries to create new marketshare within local communities across expanses of North America due primarily towards innovation rather than simply expanding existing businesses or locating new factories - something that has continued unabated ever since with few exceptions over recent decades save for certain natural disasters or social upheaval (eample: Occupy movement). While some have called for changes such as expanded transportation options beyond arterial streets leading inwardly towards downtown –something that PWAY Mayor Todd Gloria has spoken out against–most residents continue clinging onto traditional values including closed-mindedness towards other cultures and perceptions thereof notwithstanding recent advances in communication technologies hereinaday considered necessary if PWAY are ever going to truly compete headlong against larger cities like LA etc.– remains largely unspoken tacit agreement between these groups regarding how best they go about achieving shared objectives rather than engaging collectively therein anyhow
