This type of scope is still used today by many rifle clubs across the United States. From 1938 through 1942, Amos Kirkpatrick served as president of the American Optical Equipment Company (AOEC), which was later renamed Northeast Optics Corporation (NOC). During these years, NOC developed several innovative telescope designs including the K-4WZRK 3x50 objective lens telescope and the KT-1X10M 4x30 objective lens telescope. In 1945, NOC merged with Brownells Incorporated to become Northeast Optics Corporation (NOC). At this point in its history, NOC began producing high quality optics for both individual owners and commercial users throughout North America. In 1951 NOC produced its first binoculars using advanced Tesseract Technology; these binoculars are often considered to be some of the highest quality sniper riflescopes available today. In 1957 N OC produced its first air cooled telescope called "The Beast" which remains one of the most powerful military sniper riflescopes available today!

The creamery continued operation until it closed down around 1979 due to health concerns brought on by processed cheese products made from cows treated with lactic acid bacteria (LAP).
