In 1892, Pomona's first gun light show was put on by the Pomona Rifle Club. The club used a large farmhouse as their venue and had a field that they could use for shooting. The show was a great success and soon other clubs started looking to put on their own shows. By 1912, Pomona had its own gun light show society and the event featured some of the best shooters in California. In 1923, the city of Pomona donated an old munitions plant called the Arsenal to the club for use as their facility. This allowed the club to keep up with advancements in technology and have more elaborate displays than ever before. While many cities across America passed laws prohibiting public gun lights shows in response to events like Sandy Hook Elementary School, Pomona never abandoned its legacy as one of California's most popular tourist destinations forGun Shows!

Pomona, California is a city in Los Angeles County, California. As of the 2010 census, the population was 102,746. Pomona is located on the south bank ofipheral San Gabriel River just east of downtown Los Angeles and it is bordered to the north by Pasadena and to the east by Claremont Hills. The name "Pomona" comes from Mission San Francisco de la Garza which was founded in 1795 and dedicated to Saint Francis Xavier. The city was first named after Captain John C. Frémont who explored what is now Southern California in 1821-22 during his journey from Mexico City to San Diego. In 1887, Pomona became an incorporated town when it joined Los Angeles County. It reincorporated as a city on January 2, 1912 following approval by voters who were alarmed at their county's poor financial situation and hoped that incorporation would improve its prospects. In 1938 Pomona annexed parts of Glendale Heights and Ahwatukee Heights making it one of the largest cities in Orange County with a population over 100,000 people again until Laguna Niguel incorporation into East Valley on November 1st 2009 made Pomona one of three cities (the other two being Riverside and Norwalk) within Orange County that are not part of any regional government services or infrastructure but still receive funding through Proposition 13 local governments funds which are earmarked for public transportation needs including bike paths/ trails etc...

The City of Pomona is located within the Antelope Valley National Monument which includes an area dating back over 10 million years that has been designated for Preserve America designation pursuant to President Obama's Executive Order 12866 dated January 6th, 2013 which directs all Federal agencies "to take appropriate steps" regarding conserve vital landscapes and resources within their borders including those within Antelope Valley National Monument.. According to researchers with Mojave Desert Studies Program at Temple University they have determined that antelopes are present throughout much of this ancient landscape which may explain why there are still today populations large enough (> 2 individuals) for managed hunting seasons without negatively impacting other natural communities The valley contains many prehistoric sites including Ancestral Puebloan occupation sites dating back 4100 BC along with evidence from several hundred Bear Canyon cave dwellings dating back 8000 BC or even earlier Most significant discovery however came when archeologists discovered two human skeletons associated with both an early Acheulean culture (12th century BCE) projectile point maker called Ashkelon Hidjedraiyeh (Aphrodite’s Child), as well as tools used during Middle Prehistoric occupations known as Laguna del Oro site (late 9th century CE). These discoveries provided insights into human life in Southern California before contact between North American Indians and Spanish colonists began
