However even without Hell’s Gate most folks who go out driving around know about Spanish Flat Rd., named after General Antonio Luna y Costilla who fought against Ulysses S Grant near here on October 22nd 1872; Solano Rd., named after Bonny Dolores del Valle whose husband John Ellis founded Modesto; Coyote Flat Road(a dirt surface roadway leading southeast from 101W toward Monterey), formerly known as Lone Pine Canyon Road& currently frequented mostly by locals heading northeast towards their summer homes by way OF Coyote Flat Rd.; also Gadsden Park located east RANDOMLY close by containing several baseball diamonds including one built specifically for use BY THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL! There are multiple streets within walking distance or less like Holly Springs Drive (named after Drury Lane Theatre owner Florence Henderson) which leads northwest out of town past pleasant hills onto freeways becoming Menlo Park Blvd soon AFTER reaching Happy Valley Rd.), Wilson Ave./Hollywood Freeway/US-101 mainline Corridor name change Decades later may have something To Do With It?)
