While this type of sight was crudely built, it did serve its purpose well for some time. However, over time it became clear that other devices could be built much more accurately using images instead of just white lines on a screen. As result, Harris decided to start development on his own design which he christened the "Harris Technology" Red Dot Sight (HTD). The HTD featured four white circles that rotated around an orange circle in order to give you directions on where your target should be located relative to them (Figure 1). This sight was not only reliable but also extremely easy to use thanks to its simple design. Unfortunately, due to its simplicity, this type of red dot sight was not very widely adopted until later models came along (Figure 2). The First Generation Harris Technology Red Dots: The first generation Harris Technology Red Dots were introduced in 1992 (Figure 3). They were similar in concept to the HTD but had two additional circles that displayed information about your target rather than just providing direction on where it should be located (Figure 4). This version did not work as well as either version above but it served its purpose well enough during its time being released (Figure 5). However, after years of development and widespread adoption by shooters across all platforms, Harris decided to redesign his product line into what we know today as the "Harris Optics" Lineups ( Figure 6 ). These new systems employed state-of-the-art technology which made their sighting systems even more inaccurate than before but they also boasted increased accuracy compared to older models (+ Figure 7) .

In 1949, two brothers, Dickenson and Don Egan purchased land adjoining Rancho San Pablo that would become Downtown Pinole. They named their developing area after themselves: Denny's Addition, Don's Addition, and Egan's Addition respectively. Downtown pinole now covers all or most of what was once Rancho San Pablo between Denny Way on the north side and Spring Street on the south side - bounded by 3rd Street on one side, Manuel Drive on another side, Division Street on yet another side - with Chavez Ravine separating it from residential areas near Spring Street to its west boundary while Interstate 5 skirts its eastern boundary
