The Parlier, California history extends back to 1853. The town was founded by Jedediah Smith and his family on the Sacramento River. They named it after their father, Parlier, a Frenchman who had settled in the area in 1777. In 1853, the town's first post office was established. It remained in operation until 1907. In 1915, the United States acquired Nevada from Spain as part of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. As part of this arrangement, Mexico received land east of the Rio Grande that included what is now Parlier and portions of other California towns such as Atascadero and Garcesville. This gave rise to further speculation about whether or not Nevada would be given to California; eventually it was agreed that California would receive both lands based on their population totals at the time they were acquired. AsParlier grew more populous over time, its need for local government expanded beyond simply issuing certificates of incorporation; in 1922, the town council adopted a charter which provided for self-government with a mayor and five-member board of trustees responsible for all aspects of municipal life including budgeting and management; these same individuals also served on parochial church councils which oversaw religious services and other matters within their respective denominations (i.e., social welfare). During World War II, Parlier played an important role as one of several military airfields used by American forces in north-central California during The Great War series against Japan; although no planes ever flew from our airport specifically during WW2 (the only active USAAF base outside cities/towns across America at that time), many general aviation pilots gained experience flying out from nearby NAS Monterey County Airport while stationed at RAF Abbotsford west Of Canada - some even encountered Japanese aircraft over North America!

These mounts were often made from two parts: the baseplate (which was typically made from wood), and the optic itself. The baseplate would then attach to the rifle’s receiver or barrel using screws or bolts, while the optic itself would likely be attached using an adapter or mounting bracket. The first scope mount designed specifically for use with modern firearms was designed by Bill Ruger back in 1984. This design became known as the Ruger Precision Rifle Scope Mount, and it allowed shooters to adjust their optics without having to remove their rifleshooter’s stock! It also featured a number of convenience features such as its built-in tighteners which allowed users to quickly secure their optics even when they were moving around town! The next major advance in scope mount design came about 25 years later when JJB Schonwald created his infamous “Titanium Scope Mount”! First of all, it used titanium plates instead of metal plates which greatly reduced weight and allowed for increased flexibility when fitting onto different receivers/barrels! Additionally, Titanium Scopes could now be mounted into any position within +/- 3 degrees of vertical travel! Finally, this system featured integrated bearings which eliminated much of the wobble experienced with traditional iron sights alone! The Titanium Scope Mount is still seen on many high-end sniper rifles today. As scope mounts continuedto become more complex and sophisticated over time, manufacturers began creating variants specificto individual firearm models. For example , Browning had a variant called the BFR that included an attached bipod that allowed shooters To control tripod height; Springfield Armory produced a variant called “Tomahawk” which included both a bipod attachment point AND an illuminated reticle dot sight; Savage Arms produced a variant known simply as “Savage” which featured an integral Picatinny rail for attaching other accessories; etc . etc . Each variation had its own advantages and disadvantages specific unto it – but all ended up being extremely popular with unique firearm builds!

Parlier is a small town in Kern County, California, United States. It was founded by George Parlier in 1876. The community is located on the banks of the Kings River. The population was 2,992 as of the 2010 census. George Parlier came to California in 1849 and homesteaded land near present-day Parlier. He built a log cabin and named his new town after himself, George Palfreyer's Rancho Seco at the mouth of Sacramento Creek (now called West Elk Lake). In 1876, George Parlier donated $5 to build a school for his children and another $10 for teacher salaries. The first school building was an adobe edifice erected on a hill about two blocks east of present day Parlier Ferry Road. Mrs. Hilda Covington also built a home around this time which still stands today on what is now Main Street in Parlier. The first trustees of the First Presbyterian Church were Revs Wm Grosvenor (1877–81), John Bigham (1882–86) and James Fenton (1887–92). Reverend Grosvenor served as pastor from 1881 until 1893 when he became pastor at nearby Lassen College where he remained until his death in 1916. Mrsor Hilda Covington served as treasurer from 1896 until her death in 1949; she also raised money for many local charities including Ladies Auxiliary No 798 Starlite Benefit Society which provided meals to needy families during World War II. In1988, PARLIER VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL opened its doors to students grades 9-12 after years of dedication by PARLIER COMMUNITY FCG OF AMERICA INC., one of Northern California's leading high schoolsCHAOS! On October 15th 1988 with over 350 students enrolled attendance had increased to over 600 by lunchtime that day due largely to generous donations given by parents/guardians who saw potential greatness IN THE NAME OF THEIR CHILDREN! With such success we soon began dreaming about larger facilities & renamed our school "PARLIER VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY"
