He also became known for his use of Steadicam equipment on set during long takes to keep actors still while filming complex stunts including horses being ridden into battle or bullet holes becoming exposed within automobile windshields

It is located on the Pacific Coast between Los Angeles and San Francisco, about 60 miles (98 km) northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Its name comes from two factors: its location on a major road leading north to Hollywood and south to Dana Point, California; and its former use as a navy depot during World War II. It was founded by Major General John Sutter in 1867 as Sutter’s Fort on what is now called Paramount Street. In 1906, it became one of the first cities in California to have electric lighting installed within its limits.
