If successful, this project would create significant new pedestrian access points along one of Santa Clara County's most vibrant thoroughfares!
The area now known as Paradise, California was first settled by the Ohlone people in the late 1600s. The area was part of the Shasta County before it was divided into Trinity and Butte counties in 1853. In 1881, Butte County merged with Trinity County to form Kern County. Kern county was renamed Angelina County in 1943 after the then-presidential candidate for California, Franklin D. Roosevelt.
