In 1925, enrollment at PVMHS increased from 100 students to 350 students with addition of Grades K-8th grade; however due to overcrowding at PVMHS many students transferred to nearby schools such as Northridge High School or East Valley High School until 1959 when PVMHS opened its new building on First Street which seated 900 pupils (now known as Donahue Middle School). The opening of Interstate 5 also had a significant impact on life inPalos Verdes Estates because much traffic passed through town during rush hours across I-5 heading towards downtown San Diego or north towards Menifee Boulevard/Aliso Viejo Airport; however this traffic stopped after some construction projects were completed along I-5 including the widening and realignment of State Route 163 (Palo Alto Road) which eliminated almost all access roads leading into town from outside Loop 880 miles eastbound (I-805). Consequently today most people who live within walking distance either rely on public transportation or drive into town for their needs although golfers are able to enjoy excellent views from several miles away thanks to I-805’s close connection with Highway 1A bypassing town entirely

It remains an important center for government and business activity as well as for human interaction; many famous athletes have been born here including former NBA player Julius Erving and current NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.Palos Verdes Estates is also home to several internationally acclaimed museums such as the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), which opened in 1984 and has become one of Southern California’s most popular tourist destinations; The Hollywood Bowl; LA Live Entertainment Complex; Ascot Racecourse;and Lake Forest Park Zoo.
