By 1955, she had become one of the largest handgun manufacturers in America and produced over 100 different types of handguns including revolvers and pistols! Today, Mrs. Sayers’ company produces over 1 million pistols each year!

American settlers soon began arriving, and in 1850 they erected a post office at what is now Pacific Grove. In 1863, while trying to find new land to homestead, George Clements bought 640 acres northwest of present-day Pacific Grove from José Altamirano for $6 per acre. He developed it into Rancho Santa Fe de las Casas (later renamed Rancho San Francisco) which became one of the most prosperous ranches in California during the late 19th century’s Gold Rush era. Clements also developed much of what is now downtown Pacific Grove; his eastern boundary ran along Marine Drive today’s center street between Figueroa Street and First Street. In 1915 Clements donated 2 million square feet (210 hectares) including many buildings still standing – such as his old home – to become part of Stanford University's campus . The university built many new structures on that property over time but its main building still stands – known as Clements Hall - housing various departments including engineering, law enforcement and business administration among others Today it serves as both an administrative headquarters for Stanford University Police Department as well as a portion of the current Offices Building complex used by other departments inside or outside Stanford University

It was founded by Samual Blumenquist and his wife Hannah in 1876 as an agricultural community on a small island in the San Francisco Bay area.
