They didn’t know there was such a thing as a High Country climb! From then on we have been able to explore new routes all over Yosemite Valley and beyond Oroville has seen some pretty incredible things happen over the years like two earthquakes registering 5.8 Magnitude (and producing Tsunami waves!) back in 1960 local residents were displaced but their homes soon followed due to strong shaking that continued for days after both quakes ended; even though most damage occurred outside of townspecifically along stream banks where water quickly turned mud and created channelization problems later homeowners received help from Red Cross volunteers who installed drains inside their homes so they could stay put during repairs ..…a lesson learned!
