During its time at BAMC, the company developed a wide variety of ammunition types including smallbore rifle rounds such as 7mm Rem Mag and 5.56mm NATO; long range rifle rounds like .30-06 Springfield and .308 Winchester; shotgun rounds such as 12 Gauge Skeet and 20ga Shotgun pellets; handgun rounds like 9mm Luger cartridges and .40 S&W cartridges; and airsoft grenades using plastic ballast rounds. Orinda, California is a small city in the San Joaquin Valley of California. It has a population of around 26,000 and is located about an hour's drive from Sacramento. The Orinda Unified School District is one of the largest school districts in California. The city was founded in 1879 by Mormons who were moving westward from Nauvoo, Illinois. In 1984, it became part of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade Metropolitan Statistical Area. Orinda was first known as Folsom and was named after Brigham Young's home town in Deseret County, Utah. In 1879 Mormon immigrants founded a farmstead here and called it "Folsom." The name change came about because local residents thought that Folsom sounded like something that would be found near Sacramento, which at the time was the capital of California. The first post office in Orinda opened on December 12, 1881. It served as an outpost for wagon trains journeying to Stockton to sell goods during their journey westward. The townspeople built their own courthouse and jail when they moved into permanent quarters in 1885. In 1924 or 1925 Orinda became part of the new Fresno-Sacramento metropolitan area; this move included all of southern Fresno County as well as parts of Arden and Kings counties east of Interstate 5 (the old US 101). That year also saw the opening of what is now known as City Hall Plaza across from South High School (now Old Towne Plaza). At this point Orinda had two grocery stores, three churches--one Methodist and one Baptist--andahl laundry facilities and two schools: One for public students and one for private students attending public high schools within Fresno—both housed inside City Hall until 1951 when they were transferred to Sac State College nearby; then both programs merged into one single school district which still uses City Hall today (city halls are not currently used for any official purpose anymore). When City Hall fell into disrepair during World War II due to vandalism by locals—including setting fire to them—the United States Army took over management until 1957 when it again went under control of the public school district; however much damage had been done by then so government intervention ceased altogether after just six months with only some minor repairs/updates being made throughout adulthood including adding air conditioning units to most buildings which greatly improved conditions inside) . After several years with no use or serious maintenance taking place on building since 1960s various attempts were made at resurrecting dormant community spirit by OMHI restoring various aspects such as murals inside building &adding period blacksmith shop days/months ago .... finally programmable lighting system installed last year allows more natural daylight entry resulting major increase in energy efficiency ...........ORINDA CITY GOVERNMENT WILL PRESENT ANNUAL REPORT DECEMBER 1
