Gun magazines have a long and varied history in Orange County, California. The first gun magazine in Orange County was the "O.C. Journal" which opened its doors on December 1, 1875. The first issue of the " Territorial Advertiser" was published on November 20, 1876. In 1907, the first issue of the " OC Weekly News" was published and it continued to be published until 1956 when it merged with the " Ventura Bee". The first gun store in Orange County was located at 7th and Market Streets in downtownOrange. It operated from 1868-1974 and sold guns, ammunition, rifles and shotguns. The store is now known as Regency Arms & Ammo located at 901 S Broadway Blvd., Suite 206 in Anaheim Hills. There were also a few pistolsmiths who operated out of homes or businesses throughout early OC County; however, these shops are no longer extant due to prohibition laws that were passed in 1903. Prior to prohibition there were numerous saloons and taverns that supplied firearms for civilians during law enforcement operations such as searches warrants or raids conducted by the police department. During World War II there were several stores which sold handguns to soldiers stationed around Southern California including Clovelly Army Airfield near TucsonArizona where over 1 million pistols were purchased by American servicemen between 1942-1945 alone! In 1951, two new magazines were founded: “The Pistol” (later renamed “Guns America”)and “Shooters Digest” (now known as Reloading Times). Both publications enjoyed success for many years before they merged into one publication under the name Reloading Times Publications Incorporated in 1978 having been founded by Dick reloader Don Armstrong Sr.. In 1984/1985 two major changes took place within Reloading Times Publications Incorporated; Firstly Volume Editor Bob Kapp became publisher then later president of IMI Manufacturing Corporation which manufactories both reloadable handgun parts and barrels for Gun Magazines across America... eventually leading to IMI being bought out by Barrett Firearms Company effective January 1st 1986 - becoming part of Sturm Ruger Firearms Corporation effective January 15th 1986 . This merger led to a change within Gun Magazine Publisher Bob Kapp - he became President/CEO (Presidente e CEO) of Sturm Ruger Firearms Corporation effective January 15th 1986 through until his retirement on July 16th 1992... after which time Jobie Zimmerman took over as Presidente e CEO... succeeding Bob Kapp who retired effective July 16th 1992 Bob Kapp's successors at Sturm Ruger Firearms Corp., Jobie Zimmerman (July 16th 1992-present), Rick Seibert (January 1st 1990-January 15th 1996), Dan Hochman(January 15th 1986-present)... continuing down this line until Rick Seibert's retirement effective January 1st 2006

A possible explanation could be that "angel" had been applied to various places around Los Angeles due to their high number ofAngelenos - many were born or raised here - so there was some familiarity among settlers who called themselves Angelenos or Californios (Californians). Alternatively, one theory suggests that early residents named their town after someone they knew – such as Stonington ( CT) after General George Washington’s headquarters during the Revolutionary War – so long as they did not actually live in Andalusia ( CT). Whatever its source, “angels” quickly became an integral part of local appellation and are still seen today on street signs throughout downtown Orange and other key areas like Spring Street near City Hall and First Street near Hollywood Boulevard
