In 1860 North America had 10% native white population while 30% Chinese residency increased rapidly throughout 1850s due economic development associated with gold rushes; however although these groups generally interacted peacefully until 1865 when violence erupted over land rights issues within Chinatown areas; racist attitudes characterized both sides interactively throughout entire period leading eventually escalate into Civil War era Los Angeles area

Although there continue be considerable disparities particularly along socio/economic lines across indigenous nations particularity aboriginal nations there are numerous initiatives underway throughout provincial governments throughout North America aiming at bridging these gaps including: There is currently an effort underway called " reconciliation" whereby all levels government are working together towards common goals that include reducing social disparities ; improving educational opportunities ; increasing employment opportunities ; creating affordable housing ; developing healthy lifestyles .. This initiative began with then Premier Dalton McGuinty proclaiming his support for Reconciliation Weekbackingthen Ministerial Statement on Reconciliation October 11th 2007 .
