The Holder can provide stability for the target and minimize movement of the target as it is hit. There are several different types and designs of holder available on the market today. There are two basic types: open-cell and closed-cell. Open-cell holders use thin pieces of plastic or metal that are cut into small circles that fit into the grooves on top of the target for stable support; closed-cell holders use either metal bars or springs to keep the target in place while it is being shot at.urthermore, there are numerous "positioning" devices available which allow you to adjust how tight or loose your grip is on your gun when holding a target. When using a closed cell holder, make sure that you have enough space between your hand and the back side of your rifle so that you don't accidentally tighten/ loosen your grip on the Target while firing! When using a closed cell holder with metal bar/spring targets, always aim slightly lower than normal because metal has less recoil than wood targets (and therefore reduces noise). Be careful not to overshoot as this will cause damage to either your weapon or yourtarget! If shooting paper targets with open cells, try not to shoot them too low - Shoot them about 1 inch off from ground level instead since paper does not rebound very well after hitting something hard!). For more serious training sessions, I strongly recommend using Birds Eye Vieweroculars (BVE) mounted atop some sturdy pieces tall enough so that both eyes can line up on same object simultaneously when sighting through BVE telescope - This allows shooters unmatched accuracy and clarity in their aiming process!
