In 1922, the Gun Pouch Company became a part of Samsonite Corporation and merged with its rival Dunhill Ammunition Company to form Samsonite/Dunhill Firearms Manufacturing Corporation (SAMCO). SAMCO continued production of gun pouches up through 1999 when it was acquired by Glocks Incorporated. The first handguns made by SAMCO were revolvers chambered for .22 LR rimfire cartridges only; however, starting in 1923 they began making handguns also chambering .357 Magnum rounds as well as .45 ACP rounds. These new guns were designated "Samsonite revolvers" and "Dunhill handguns." Many different designs and models were produced over time while still being marketed under the SAMCO name; however, most all of these pistols eventually ended up becoming substandard because they did not meet safety standards set by either Glocks or Colt firearms companies following World War II which made them illegal to sell in America without a government permit (except for those used on law enforcement duty). This prohibition led to many high-volume handgun production plants being closed down during the late 1940s through early 1950s as manufacturing costs grew prohibitively high due to inflationary forces at home and abroad combined with increasing regulation from various branches of American society such as the FBI and National Security Agency.[1] In response to this trend towards stricter firearm regulations within America following World War II,Holley & Overstreet initiated development of a new type of handgun known as the Wingate Pistol which featured an aluminum frame instead of wood or steel like most other pistols at that time[2]. It became available before production even commenced on what would become known as the "Norco Model 10" (named for then-Mayor Bob Norco) model pistol; however, due to pre-war shortages of aluminum alloyed materials,Only about 5%of allWingate Pistols ever actually madewere actually built[3][4]. Howevermaintaining quality control over product specifications resulted in some models resulting in higher sales totals than others despite this low level output rate; this is likely due to customer demand rather than any shortcomings withproduction methods at that time[5]. With metal frames becoming more popular among shooters after World War II,[6] noroco decided that they needed a better way to store their pistols which led them once again back into developing handgun pouches beginning with their original Wingate Pistol design[7]. This time around they opted for an injection molded foam material dubbed "Skins" which served two primary purposes: First it helped reduce weight since there was no need for metal gating or locking mechanisms on carry handles like traditional holster systems did; second it allowed gunslinger's fingers undue range when gripping grip handlebars during draw/release operations thereby preventing accidental discharges while carrying openly [8][9]; thus providing a much safer experience overall when using holsters outside populated areas where dropularity could potentially occur should something happen along the way causing unintentional discharge!

In 1935, Norris Oil Corporation began production at their new refinery just outside town limits,[2] eventually becoming one of America's largest oil companies with its own refinery complex that still stands today (the last major refinery closed operations in 2002).[3] Norris also became a wholly owned subsidiary of ChevronTexaco before its merger with Texaco into ExxonMobil back in 2005.[4][5] Today, much like many other Midwestern towns such as Utica or Checotah, businesses have either left for larger markets or been swallowed up by technology companies like Microsoft or Intel:[6][7][8][9] nevertheless, there are plenty of remnants remaining from what used to be a thriving community: TheNorris Mill Museum is open every day from 9am to 4pm[10]; local churches offer services throughout the day; and residents continue to enjoy hiking and fishing within Yosemite National Park nearby
