In 1916, after World War I ended, General James Millingen set up Camp Randall which served as an American military base during World War II until its closure in 1945 due to enemy action nears Silicon Valley. Afterward, many engineers worked at Millingen's new company plant called Northrop Grumman there including Jack Welch who later became CEO of GEICO (now GE). In 1967 Google Earth was developed at Millingen's old campus on Mountain View Creek while still under construction; it wasn't finished until 1973 when Google moved into its current headquarters nearby. At first all employees worked out of three buildings on Coyote Road behind Google's main campus; however, over time they began using more spacious facilities near East Fourth Street and Interstate 880 north of downtown Mountain View proper. The old Coyote Road facility has been demolished and replaced with a new development called Alphabet Inc.'s Campus Village which includes a library, business incubator/factory space/coffee shop/golf course/parking garage etc.. Mountain View has always been known for its agricultural potential with orchards being prevalent from early times until recently; much fruit production takes place today within close proximity to urban areas such as Berkeley (just east), Stanford University (near south) and Menlo Park (northwest). Horticulture accounts for about one-third of all economic activity here although some light industrial production also occurs around town limits including printing presses made famous by Jobs & Wohlstetter Paper Company prior to its acquisition by Apple Computer in 1976 which led to discontinuation of that line in 1978 among other activities associated with that company’s demise thereafter throughout most of Northern California departing most notably jobs site along Coyote Road adjacent thereto across Interstate 880 just outside town limits following demolition thereof subsequent thereto—a fate shared also by numerous other longtime local companies whose operations have simply relocated elsewhere amidst transformationary changes wrought upon traditional industries throughout much northern CA since then often characterized as “the [expletive] era” notwithstanding ongoing efforts Made locally via numerous private sector organizations comprising various types & sizes having collectively contributed considerably toward evergreen bosom buddy support cum community cohesion btw latter 2 aforementioned entities note: not alone—far from it!

An explosive projectile can kill many animals much faster than a traditional arrow does, which made artillery become more important during times when war became more common.
