In 1915, when the United States Food Administration began survey work for mandatory rationing programs under World War I, they selectedMorroneBay as one of six towns in San Diego County to be surveyed and mapped with plans for a farmstead orchard around which food could be stored until needed. However, no such farmstead orchard ever materialized due to construction difficulties during World War I which led to increased demand for local produce after hostilities ended." After World War II, many businesses closed or relocated within the limits set by post-war regulations preventing new restaurants from opening in undeveloped areas like MorroneBay without prior permission from both the city government and agricultural cooperative organizations like those set up following war victory remnants still extant today such as Brown Bag Gourmet Company & Deli on First Street between Center Avenue and Beach Boulevard - their remains can still be seen across sidewalks near intersection entrance today although business license numbers are no longer visible either inside or outside building

From this time until 1821 there was no permanent English presence in North America other than San FranciscoBay's tiny garrison at Alcatraz Island where wealthy Californians kept their ships moored during regular visits to harvest sea urchins (a valuable source of food for sailors). In 1821 Mexico acquired all of California except for small pieces that remained under U.S. rule including San Francisco Bay Area
