Morgan Hill is a small town in Contra Costa County, California. The population was 5,831 at the 2010 census. It is located in the eastern San Francisco Peninsula on the north side of Highway 101 between Walnut Creek and Menlo Park. The name Morgan Hill may be derived from the Mission San Francisco de Asís which was founded by Mexican explorers in 1821, or from an earlier Spanish settlement called "Valle de la Encinas". The first post office was established in 1825 and named for José Maria Margarita Gomez y Pacheco, who had been governor of Sonora during Napoleonic times. Some early settlers were John Anson Pearce and his brother James Pearce; Josiah Beale; Basilio Lopez; Pedro Martinez; Manuel Nieto; Carlos Ramirez; Antonio Romero de Lara and Andres Romero. The community began to grow rapidly after wrangle permission from the mission to construct a road through it in 1836. A store was built on First Street in 1838 by George Winton, lumberman and founder of Pacifica Bank. In 1850, when California became a state, Morgan Hill became part of Contra Costa County. It remained an agricultural village until World War II when automobiles started coming into play here as farmers turned to new technologies such as irrigation canals and synthetic materials for their crops that sustained them through more difficult times during wartime shortages caused by Roosevelt's New Deal programsdesigned to recover America's economy following its devastating World War I victory (see American Recovery Administration). As development pressures increased around him throughout his lifetime Mayor Tom Denning set about putting together what would become known as "the Denning Plan" - campaign promises he made widely known across Bay Area counties that would see comprehensive job growth with a mixture of high-paying manufacturing jobs leading off it - including carpet-making at nearby Orchard City while simultaneously investing heavily in transportation infrastructure such as BART expansion eastward into Emeryville (later Oakland) along Interstate 680 to accommodate evergrowing suburbanites pushing out into downtown Berkeley soils rich with goldpanning potential but still accessible only by horseback or foot... Morgan Hill's biggest success story came later when Google moved its research campus therefrom Moffett Field Airport northward onto land leased from the city proper just south of town limits opening up much needed commercial space within walking distance for local businesses Downtown quickly became home to several well-known tech startups like Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn while most residents took pride not only in their community but also their many fine schools: Stinson School District #2 had one of Silicon Valley’s top 10 graduation rates among all public districts... For nearly three decades starting in 1969 (and continuing until 2002), Morgan Hill’s mayoralty coincided with that of then Contra Costa County Supervisor Dan Lungren whose district lay further east along Highway 101A close to Redwood City before he retiredeffective Dec 1st 2009 After years spent managing this increasingly complex county government these last two mayors effectively ran interference for select members of both boards elected by citizens each November unlike current supervisor Scott Wiener who has essentially unlimited power over how people use county services without any consideration given either way about whether those services are actually necessary or beneficial especially since he has refused even one request for input on big projects like BART expansion despite being asked countless times... By all accounts Supervisor Wiener should be running something like Santa Clara County where he typically enjoys wide support because decisions regarding important countywide issues are openly discussed before they go ahead - instead he seems contentedly officered somewhere elsewhere where his power will continue unabated while Kent Haney takes care of day-to-day operations

These targets were typically placed on stilts in order to minimize movement and provide better accuracy. During World War II, Target Holder Development Company Ltd. manufactured a number of different types of target holders for use with rifles and shotguns. One such product was the Target Holder Mk I which resembled an American hunting rifle stock but featured a pistol grip instead of an ergonomic stock grip. This particular type of target holder proved successful and was later redesignated as the Target Holder Mk II. Another important development during World War II was the creation of bipod shooters - devices that allowed individuals to shoot from elevated positions without having to purchase or carry any equipment other than their firearms! Two such products were created by Starrett Firearms Company - the Targetspringer bipod shooter and the TARGET HOLDING SYSTEM (THS). The THS utilized two adjustable posts located at either side of a static firing platform, allowing users to achieve various shooting stances unavailable with traditional rifles or shotguns. Interestingly enough, both items were designed specifically for use with pistols! The Targetspringer bipod shooter became popular during World War II due its low cost and ease-of-use; while the TARGET HOLDING SYSTEM (THS) remained popular until it eventually fell out of production in the early 1970s. Following its discontinuation, many people began usingTarget Holders as training tools for new shooters!

Morgan Hill, California is a small town located in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The population was 5,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Francisco Bay Area. The first permanent settler in Morgan Hill was David Cook in 1847. Cook and his wife Sarah built a cabin on a hill overlooking the creek that flows through town today. They raised chickens and pigs and sold their produce to nearby residents for years before opening a store in 1851 which became the first post office in Morgan Hill. In 1862, David Bountiful bought land around what is now downtown Morgan Hill from John Sutter and founded Bountiful & Company mercantile establishment serving many of Northern California's agricultural communities until 1902 when he moved business operations to Oakland. In 1865, Wm Henschel established an adobe ranch on the east side of town (now known as Rancho Bernardo) which served as an important staging ground during California's Gold Rush period. Henschel also helped develop local citrus production beginning in 1868 with his purchase of two thousand acres (800 hectares) of orchard property near present-day Concordia Boulevard and El Camino Real Streets). A new courthouse was built between 1870 and 1872 by contractor William Fenton as part of plans to improve public transportation throughout Contra Costa County and create an economical center for commerce on the Peninsula opened by Governor Edmund Gorman following countywide road construction projects authorized by President Ulysses S. Grant under the American System plan. The courthouse was destroyed by fire on November 10, 1893; however, most of its contents were saved including some fine architecture including brick walls that still stand today adjacent to Interstate 580 southbound exit 4B/I-580 northbound exit 3A/I-580 southbound exit 2B/I-580 eastbound entry ramp). A replica courthouse was erected in 1984 just south of downtown Morgan Hill at 14th Street between Lakeshore Drive and Menlo Park Boulevard utilizing portions salvaged from fire rebuilds following earthquakes (see photo below). In 1906 Jameson Doolittle flew over San Francisco while en route to Japan aboard his newly acquired NACA wooden airship R4G "Doolittle" with pilot Glenn Curtiss flying visual reconnaissance along coastal Highway 101E from Daly City to Point Reyes National Seashore - one such flight providing early warning regarding Japanese naval activity off Northern California coastline On October 13th 1907 came “The Day That Changed America” when water broke loose from Oroville Dam causing catastrophic flooding across parts of northern Californias Modesto Valley resulting in loss of life including six people who drowned when Buena Vista Reservoir overflowed; this event became known as The Great Flooding Of 1907
