In the early 1800s, a man named George Stephenson invented the first practical gun-fired laser. Stephenson's invention was a way to shoot projectiles by using light energy instead of muscle power. The Laser had its beginnings in 1802 when British scientist James Clerk Maxwell developed a theory on electricity and magnetism that proposed the existence of waves carrying energy as they passed through mediums. In 1805, French physicist Jean-Baptiste Brien de la Rive developed an experimental device that used light waves to fire projectiles. However, this was only an initial attempt at creating lasers; it would be more than 20 years until another person would develop one with truly portable capabilities. By 1865, American inventor Samuel Morse had produced his first working laser pointer which he called the "Morse code telegraph". By 1888, Charles Michel had produced his own laser pointer which became known as the "Michelson lens." However, these devices were still limited in their ability to produce stable beams of coherent light. It wasn't until 1897 that Russian scientist Ivan Ostrovsky developed what is now known as the world's first self-firing gun-laser system using semiconductor lasers and photocells—the so-called "OstrovskyGun." At this point in Laser technology there were several different types of Lasers being developed: Penlights (single use), Monitors (multiplexed for viewing multiple objects simultaneously), Yard Wires (used for target practice), and Offices (for shooting at targets from a distance). In addition to these devices there were also some basic Rifle Lasers being made such as those manufactured by Singer & Co., Folsom & Bacon Company, Eberhard Faber Company and others during this time period. These Rifle Lasers used either mercury or zinc vaporase discharge tubes with a focused beam of white or colored light inside them – giving off an intense Spotlight effect similar to what you see when you use a flashlight while hunting or playing outdoors. With all these various types of LASERS being created it is no wonder that Gun Laser Technology began developing significantly faster than any other form of technology at this point!

Morgan Hill is a small town located in Sacramento County, California, United States. The population was 5,751 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade–Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first Europeans to visit Morgan Hill were Juan Bautista Cabrillo and his party on November 14, 1769, during their attempted circumnavigation of Earth. He named it San Miguel de Morgan Hill after one of his captains on that voyage. In 1859, John Sutter discovered gold near what is now known as Sutter's Mill in Morgan Hill while exploring for new land to claim in the Gold Rush era. The discovery led to the town being founded and named by Sutter himself - an event which also served as its incorporation date. During World War II, many American soldiers stationed in Northern California came downriver to work at Redding Mills and other local mills before they rejoined their units back home in late 1944 or early 1945. This influx of workers helped spur development around the community with new housing developments such as North Park Square and Pioneer Village; businesses such as Safeway; and churches like First Baptist Church soon becoming popular spots for retail shopping and dining among locals alike. In recent years much of this activity has moved away from downtown Morgan Hill towards newer areas closer to Interstate 15 but some longstanding businesses remain including Safeway (now a Kroger), Borders Books & Music, Chinese takeout restaurants Chow Yun Li and Leung Wah Chauenwai F&B., Matrix Coffee & Donuts (now called Treats N' More) and Father's Pizza Garden & Grille where you can still find old-fashioned pizza delivered straight to your door! A few miles outside downtown on Highway 99 are several smaller grocery stores including Albertsons Grocery Co., Stop 'n Shop Supermarket (), Safeway Neighborhood Market (), Gelson's Markets () and Monsanto Foods (). Today there are very few places left within city limits that can serve up Italian food such as Pizzeria Paradiso (), Little Italy Grill () or Mafiosos Pizza (). However, if you're looking for something a little more unique try trying out All You Can Eat Asian Buffet ($) at Sheppard's Liquor Store just off I-15 north of town). The community has experienced some redevelopment over the years starting with Checkerboard Row when developers built large apartment complexes overlooking downtown; followed by Five Points when a mixture of office buildings/retail space along I-5 were developed; culminating with Willowbrook which added residential units (including two towers) next to Willows Mall across from Interstate 5 between 1996 and 2000. Willowbrook was eventually renamed after then Mayor Gavin Newsom who became governor following Proposition 98 landslide victory less than two years later! Nowadays most development takes place around Riverside Avenue east of I-5 near Target Field with light industrial conversions taking place along sideinda parks like Cesar Chavez Elementary School () or McCullough Middle School (). Although not completely abandoned it definitely feels more like an "oldie"town than today’s vibrant mix of young professionalsand retirees

By 1860, Morgan Hill had become an agricultural community with about 100 residents. In 1865, the population reached 1,500 and by 1880 it hadgrown to 3,000. The growth continued until World War I when Morgan Hill's population plummeted to 350 due to the war. After the war, the population increased again but slowed down during the Depression because of lack of jobs and economic hardship. In 1960, Morgan Hill became an incorporated city with a population of 5,000 people. Today, Morgan Hill has a total population of over 10,000 people and is one of California's most densely populated cities.
