Bipedalism spread from Africa to India and China in the early days of humanity. It was during the Shang Dynasty (14th century BC-9th century AD) that bipedalism first began to be adopted as a way of life by the people. At this time, humans were still using a lot of animal carts and horses for transportation. In about 2500 BC, some Chinese scholars traveled to India and saw that many Indians were using two-footed walking instead of using animal carts or horses for transportation. They realized that this new way of living was more efficient and easier than previous methods. Around 1500 BC, Spanish travelers reached California and saw that the Native Americans there were also using bipedalism for transportation. They also discovered that these Native Americans had built large canoes with two legs on each side which they used to transport goods upriver. This discovery led to the development of boats and ships in California.

Morgan Hill is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The population was 21,878 at the 2010 census. It is located on the eastern edge of San Francisco Bay and is one of the most affluent cities in Northern California. The area that would become Morgan Hill was first settled by Native Americans, who called it "Mukilteo". In 1837, John C. Fremont discovered gold near what is now Morgan Hill and named the area for him. By 1840, orange groves had been planted there and soon became an important commercial center for California's Central Valley. The town site changed hands several times until it was purchased by James Meeks in 1868 from his brother-in-law Joseph Willard. Meeksville grew around the new community, but eventually faded as commerce moved to nearby Pleasanton and Newark (now part of Walnut Creek). In 1892 William Randolph Hearst acquired some land northwest of present day Morgan Hill and began purchasing property within it to build Hearst Rancho Santa Cruz; this would eventually encompass much of northern Contra Costa County including Morgan Hill. A post office called Hearstville was established in 1902, but no growth took place there until 1907 when a local school district built a school on what would become Hearst Avenue just west ofpresent day Morgan Hill. In 1925 Cal State Hayward established its own campus in neighboring Union City; however, because Hearst Rancho Santa Cruz lay adjacent to Hayward's campus on both sides of Highway 680 (northwest corner), access to students from either university was difficult to obtain or maintain without crossing over into each other's territory. To provide easier access for students from both universities and avoid overlapping resources, UC Berkeley created two campuses: one east of Highway 280 between San Pablo Avenue and University Boulevard (the former Hayward Campus) and another west of Interstate 580 between Oak Street and Ravenswood Road (lateridental Berkeley Campus). In 1931 UC Berkeley leased portions of Hearst Ave., south of University Blvd., to Cal State Fullerton so that Fullerton could offer agriculture courses among other things while still being able to share facilities with UC Berkeley under one roof; accordinglyFullerton's name became "Morgan Hill" after silver mines were discovered nearby which led people to confuse it with Silver Lake where silvermining activities actually took place! A year later Navy Yard School opened on what is now High Street near El Sobrante Boulevard which served children during World War II while their parents labored inside Naval Shipyards across the bay at Point Reyes Station . In 1951 Cal Poly Pomona opened its doors after years leading up to it by making donations from alumni associated with Claremont Colleges such as West Coast College , Sonoma Valley College etc.. On September 15th 1962Cal Poly Pomona celebrated its centennial anniversary with a fireworks show over North America against Mt Shasta National Park

Morgan Hill is a small town in the State of California, located in southeastern San Mateo County. The population was 7,951 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Francisco Bay Area. The first Europeans to visit Morgan Hill were in 1821 when Mission Santa Clara de Asís established a mission on the hilltop. In 1827, James Wolkett and his party of Mormons arrived from Palaiseau, Illinois and founded an adjacent settlement called Wolkettville which later became known as Morgan Hill. In 1853, John Cranch discovered petroleum at what is now known as Eastshore Oil Field #1 and developed it into an industry that would dominate California for decades. In 1865, Governor George Pico deemed Morgan Hill a city and named it after himself. In 1917, World War I veteran General James Fenton established Camp Fenton over nearby Coyote Valley in order to provide food and shelter for American soldiers engaged in the war effort. Between 1916-1917, Morgan Hill served as preparation area for air raids by the United States Army Air Forces during World War I which caused extensive damage to buildings and infrastructure within the community including collapse of one tower housing several families (the event is still commemorated annually with a memorial picnic). Later that year local resident Willard Hixon organized a group to create an amateur radio station using surplus equipment from various businesses closed during prohibition era; this station was renamed KRON (1510 kHz) after Hixon's home territory of Northern California. In 1951 KQED moved its studios from Studio City to Morgan Hill following affiliation with CREATE TV network during that decade; through KQED's programming contributions throughout that decade numerous cultural events have been hosted at various locations within Morgan Hill vicinity including The Davies Symphony Hall performances featuring internationally renowned orchestras such as London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra occasioning many thousands of visitors each season throughout these years; this has also included hosting multiple Grammy Awards ceremonies both before & after live television broadcast thanks in part to music mogul David Geffen who donated materials & services needed for construction of new broadcasting facilities on Mt Diablo while he resided & operated his mansion there over several months prior to their commencement due largely to geothermal energy produced by Crater Lake National Park below.) Today KNTV produces daily news operations out of studios located just east of downtownSAN FRANCISCO while five other FOX owned stations share common services areas anchored around major city cores nationally nicknamed "Fox Departments" - KTLA(1300), KGO(1000), KCRA(950), KPLR(710) & KPIX(730)). Overlooking much lower Downtown Hayward - notable sites include UC Berkeley Campus located across street from studio complex along 1/2 mile wide ring road extending all around campus (& adjacent Golden Gate Park), Cow Palace midway between Old Town Square & Union Square (& adjacent Transamerica Pyramid - one half century old!). Morgan Hill was founded in 1853 by John Morgan and his wife, Rebecca. The city's first post office was established in 1854. In 1861, it became the county seat of Contra Costa County. The city annexed portions of Fremont and Hayward counties in 1916. In 1949, Morgan Hill became a city again with a population of 50,000 people.
