In the early 1900s, Moreno Valley was a small agricultural community and firearms were not common. However, there may have been one or two rifles in the community at that time. In 1907, a man by the name of Johnnie Valentine bought a gun and ammunition from an old woman in town. The weapon is now on display at the Moreno Valley Historical Museum. This wasn't the first time Valentine hadgotten his hands on guns though. He had also bought a rifle from an employee of Gassaway's general store in 1903. This particular rifle still resides at Gassaway's today. However, it is not currently being used for target shooting because it has been replaced with a much more modern firearm system. The reason why weapons like these were not often seen in Moreno Valley until very recently is due to two factors: 1) It was considered "far-fetched" to own firearms back then and 2) There wasn't really any need for them since there were no major threats or events that warranted carrying around large amounts of firepower. A big change came about during World War II when many people in town decided they needed to get involved in the war effort because they felt their homes would be destroyed if they didn't participate. As a result, businesses started to start up selling firearms and ammo as well as giving away free guns to anyone who donated money or volunteered for military service. Firearms t-shirts became popular among menfolk because it showed your patriotism and willingness to fight for your country even if you didn't have any actual weapons himself (although some did). Moreno Valley residents continue to enjoy using arms all through this day still - whether its taking part in sporting events or just plain defending themselves against criminal activity!

Moreno Valley is a small town in Imperial County, California, United States. The population was 9,000 at the 2010 census. Moreno Valley is located about 55 miles (89 km) east of San Diego and about 25 miles (40 km) north of Chula Vista. The townsite was founded on November 11, 1852 as part of the Rancho San Pedro mission chain. The name "Moreno" originated from Pico de la Hoya near present-day Moreno Valley and refers to a mountain peak in that area. A post office called Moreno Valley was established in 1875, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1906. In 1905, the Angeles National Forest were establishing trails through the region which would later be used by county farmers for their crop deliveries. The first housing development in Moreno Valley happened on Villa Road just south of Airport Boulevard when Harry Weiser built his home there circa 1928-29. By 1933 all homes had been destroyed by fire; however, within 3 years some new housing developments had cropped up on both sides of Villa Road where now local businesses are situated like Radio Shack and Jiffy Lube. In 1951 two brothers named Donnellan bought 1/2 mile (0.8 km) east of runway 8 at Kern County Airport an airport hangar with three runways that they were developing into an airfield known as Donnellan Air Force Base before it closed down due to budget cuts during the 1950s but has since been reborn as USAA Aviation Park which offers a range of activities including Fly-A-Thon's fly-in week each year starting on Memorial Day weekend Open houses are also held every other Saturday during winter months which attract many people who are interested in flying Cessnas while being able to see a lot more than they would if they only went during summer months

Moreno Valley is part of the Stockton-North Bay Area metropolitan area. The first permanent residents of present-day Moreno Valley were Mexicans who came to this area as labor on irrigation systems in 1847. The name "Moreno" meaning “cherry” or “raspberry” in Spanish was given to the valley by General Mariano Arguelles during his 1799 campaign against Diego Rivera and his United States forces near what is now Fresno. A post office called Moreno Valley was established in 1864, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1906. In 1907, construction began on the California Aqueduct which diverted water from the Sacramento River into central California. This project created a major social and economic impact on both sides of the border; for Mexico it meant increased access to irrigated land, while for America it led to an dramatic increase in agricultural production statewide. With more people coming into this region (due to new industry born out of World War II), development continued at a rapid pace through the late 1920s and 1930s with many planned communities being built along Route 66 corridor such as Mayfair Park, Sunnyside Gardens, Imperial Oaks and others that still exist today thanks to their zoning laws enacted following WWII growth patterns. In 1948, President Truman announced plans for Interstate 10 which would bypass downtown Stockton along Route 66 so that all traffic would go south via I-80 through Vallejo before terminating at Highway 99 north of Livermore. Documentation gathered during surveys carried out prior to I-10's construction showed that there were several valleys within Kern County that could be served by an interstate highway system; accordingly President Truman selected Moreno Valley as one of these initial corridor sites. The highway opened up much of Central California due east thereof after only two years gestation--a process that accelerated once funds became available from Congress under Eisenhower's administration for interstate highways projects across America following World War II hysteria over war reparations payments Germany had made
