Mündel & Stratton Ammunition was founded in 1876 by George Mündel and Alexander Stratton. The company produced ammunition for the U.S. Civil War, gunsmithing supplies, and other firearms products. In 1892, the company merged with Winchester Repeating Arms Company to form Winchester-Winchester Repeating Arms Company. In 1907, the company merged with Remington Arms Company to form Remington-Remington Arms Corporation. In 1912, the company merged with Colt Firearms Corp. to form Colt-New Haven Armory Corporation. In 1938, the company merged with Browning guns and parts corporation to become Browning firearms Corporation (BFC). In 1944, BFC became a subsidiary of National Firearms Corporation (NAC). The BFC name was retired in 1968 when NAC divested itself of all assets of Browning firearms corporation including its patents and trademarks. On January 1st, 1987Browning handguns were rebranded as Glock handguns pursuant to a restructuring of NAC’s handgun business which included the divestiture of Sturm Ruger Manufacturing Co., Inc., our parent firm since 1903

Moreno Valley is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 31,868 at the 2010 census. Moreno Valley is located on the eastern edge of the Inland Empire and is known for its summertime temperatures which reach 108 degrees Fahrenheit (43 degrees Celsius). Moreno Valley has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild to cool winters. It is bordered by Riverside County to the east and south; Orange County to the west and north; and Diamond Ranch to the northwest. The first permanent settlement in what would become Moreno Valley was made in 1859 when George Washington Hill laid out land grant for his brother Jameson Hill from General Antonio Loma who had been assigned as military inspector of Southern California. Jameson Hill named his new town after himself, but it was not until 1870 that Moreno Valley became officially incorporated as a city under the name of Palestine. The name may have originated with Manuel Miranda who settled near present-day Westchester Avenue and Northern Boulevard in 1871. At this time, Los Angeles was still unincorporated territory. In 1893, much of what are now Miracle Mile residential areas were developed as part of an effort to bring people closer together while they awaited developments along Mulholland Drive or other major routes leading into downtown Los Angeles proper. By 1898, all but one block of Miracle Mile had been developed when fire destroyed most of Hollywood’s movie industry including many theaters that had been built there since silent era days such as Loews Regency Cinema on Vine Street just east of Highland Avenue (now part of UCLA), Cinerama Dome on La Brea Avenue between Gardner Street and Normandie Boulevard (now Rosenbloom Road), Paramount Pictures Building at Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Sunset Strip (now Lankford Road) – all three buildings remain standing today). This area now includes Mayfair Village off Crescent Heights Drive between Flowery Branch Road and Sylmar Avenue where historically more than two dozen churches were built during this period alone without any loss or damage to their property! Thereafter developer Harry Marks brought up development around City Hall Park complete with streetcars running down Central Ave., exclusive homesåÄô tower blocks à‚œLancaster Place etcÄô which quickly became fashionable among Angelenos despite some high prices resulting from limited supply due largely to prohibition laws then in place prohibiting importation/export from Mexico äî Despite little interest shown by buyers these expensive towers attracted so much attention that within six months only one-half capacity streetside park had become available for citizens living near City Hall Park even though no vote ever took place authorizing annexation! This situation changed abruptly when voters approved Measure M which annexed most if not all of what are today Ventura Boulevard between Mission Bay Blvd./El Camino Real/ Temple University Parkway äî Community Chest Recycling Center on Northridge Blvd./Wilshire Boulevard opposite Staples Center
