There is no doubt that firearms have been a part of the California culture for as long as there have been humans in the state. Firearms have been variously used to kill Indians, hunted animals, and protection from bandits or other criminals. In 1849, Captain George Armstrong invented the first self-loading rifle in America and began selling it to the public. The popularity of firearms across America led to Moraga becoming known as the firearm capital of California. The early ammunition for firearms was typically made from lead shot or copper pigskin. With increased numbers of people using firearms and more opportunities for arms sales, production quantities grew larger and eventually became too expensive for many hand gunners to maintain. As a result, most early rifles were conversions of older shotguns into handguns. This process usually involved conversion of the stock into a position where a handgun grip could be added on top of an existing shotgun barrel grip (see photo below). Later on, some manufacturers developed new methods for manufacturing pistols which allowed them to function with Rifle rounds while still retaining their accuracy and firing ability (see photos below). With so many different types and calibers of firearms available throughout California, it is not surprising that clothing related items featuring firearm design has become quite popular among collectors over the years. One such example is the "Bolt Action Cowboy" series by Sakuma Firearms which features American Saddlebags sporting rifles with Native American style checkering on both sides along with adjustable sights and anodized aluminum hardware (pictured below). These pieces are often considered collector's items because they are associated with cowboy period fashion in Moraga County during this time period. Another popular item featuring firearm design is called "Cowboy Hats." These hats feature large brimmed hatches that allow admission to sunlight inside while keeping individual brains out; hence their name "Cowboy Hats." In 1898, The Armoury Company opened up in Moraga and began selling firearms clothing and accessories. The company changed its name to Empire Arms in 1907. In 1911, the company was bought by Winchester Repeating Arms Company and became Winchester Armory. In 1934, the company was sold to Remington Arms Company and it continued to be calledRemington Armory until 1986 when it became a subsidiary of American Eagle Firearms Corporation.
Moraga is a town in Contra Costa County, California. The population was 21,926 at the 2000 census. It is part of the San Francisco Bay Area and has been a center of industry and culture for over a century. Moraga is located on the banks of the Moraga River, which forms its namesake creek. The creek runs through the town and empties into Hetch Hetchy Reservoir behind it. The first people to live in what is now Moraga were Native American herders who hunted big game including deer, bear, elk and antelope. In 1849, one thousand men from Stockton marched downriver to explore their new land after hearing about gold discoveries in Northern California. They named their new settlement after General Antonio José de Mora y Gómez, commander of Spanish forces that had discovered California in 1769. General Mora's landing helped spark westward expansion for Alta California as other European colonists followed his lead in exploration and trade with the newly discovered continent. In 1853, Mission Santa Clara de la Union was founded by Franciscan friars under President José Joaquín de Herrera y Peña Nieto on land that later became part of Moraga Township. On February 12th of each year since 1853 – May 25th – an event known as "El Dia del Pueblo" (the Day of community) takes place here to celebrate local civic pride and identify important issues facing the township during that particular year. As development continued to take hold throughout Contra Costa County during those years there was significant growth withinMoraga Township itself with businesses opening up along Main Street such as Japantown Store (now home to EastBay Mall), Drive-in Theater & Casino (later renamed Regal Cinemas), Lumberyard & Hardware store also opening up around this time period; all while residents continue to make their contributions to society both inside and outside of their township’s borders through various volunteer organizations like United Way or Rotary Club). In 1960, when Interstate 80 was built through Contra Costa County linking SF&E industrial areas with Marin County east of San Francisco it created serious traffic problems for townspeople living near I-80/I-580 interchange - especially during peak morning hours when many commuters would exit I-580 onto I-80 then drive back into town only to have their journey lengthened by 10 or even 15 minutes due to access restrictions placed by state Highway Patrol troopers! To ease these woes Mayor Bob Krouse convened a committee chaired by Supervisor Donny Hendrix which proposed building a bypass off I-580 eastbound just past present day intersection of US 101 & SR 246 just outside Ofmorga; this bypass would have allowed motorists exiting I-580 southbound just past SR 246 (exit 4) into downtown Moraga less than 2 miles from where they currently reside today before continuing onSR 246 northbound approximately 7 miles until reaching IH 525 eastbound which provides access directly into downtown San Francisco! After much discussion and public outcry “The Bypass” never came close to becoming reality but it serves as an interesting historical footnote today! A recent report released by The Silicon Valley Leadership Group show that technology companies are thriving in America’s most entrepreneurial city—and it may be right under your nose."

In 1892, the first firearms exhibition was held in Philadelphia. At that time, clothing wasn't considered a part of the display. The show's organizer, Mr. John Fenton, decided to add firearms clothing to the mix and invited manufacturers and suppliers to exhibit their products. Over time, more and more manufacturers have started exhibiting their products at firearm exhibitions. Moraga is a small town in the East Bay region of California, located on the Moraga River. It was founded in 1849 by John Sutter, who named it for his brother-in-law, Moraga Lake. The first permanent settler in Moraga was David Tejon, who arrived in 1851. In 1862, the town changed its name to Mooragas after General Mariano Vallejo's visit to the area. The population of Mooragas increased rapidly following World War II when the United States military constructed several airfields and housing developments within its boundaries. In 1963, Mooragas merged with neighboring Redwood City to form a new city government. The city has since consolidated many of its services into one central office which is chaired by Mayor Bill de la Ville. The Moraga Valley Junction Railroad was built through Moraga between 1868 and 1870 as part of California's Central Pacific Railroad system. Today Amtrak operates a loop service out of Mooragas Station on their San Francisco – Sacramento line. Mooragas is home to two schools: St handy High School and Moorage Middle School; two churches; three libraries; four businesses including an agricultural cooperative and a hospital; four volunteer fire departments; and six residences including five single family homes and one duplex apartment complex known as "The Gables."
Moraga, California was founded in 1849 by Rancho Moraga Adobe rancher Manuel Nieto and his wife María de la Garza. The town became a part of the newly formed County of Monterey in 1860. In 1872, the Monterey County Courthouse was built on parts of the originaladobe rancho. The courthouse currently houses the Moraga Museum which is open to the public every day from 9am to 4pm.
