Moorpark, California is a small town located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County. Moorpark was founded in 1887 by Samuel Nash and his wife Anna. The original name for the town was Sutterville, after J.P. Sutter, an early settler in the area. The town's first post office opened in 1892. Moorpark became a city on November 3, 1956, when it merged with neighboring Mission Viejo to form the City of Los Angeles. Moorpark grew rapidly during its first few decades as a city and saw significant construction activity due to its location close to both major highways and key transportation hubs. However, over time, development slowed and Moorpark began to experience some financial difficulties which contributed to its decline over the years. Today, Moorpark is home to a small population of residents who mostly work within the local community or nearby municipalities. In recent years there has been effort made by various civic groups including the City of Los Angeles Department of Water Resources (DWR) and Aramark Restaurants Corporation (ARAMARK) to revive aspects of downtown life including tours of historic buildings that may have been closed or inactive since they were acquired by DWR; art exhibitions at abandoned warehouses near Wilshire Boulevard; music festivals featuring live acoustic music from local bands; beer tastings at new breweries opening up around town; and more organized events such as Paint-Out Alley Art Walk every other Saturday morning along Western Avenue between Santa Monica Boulevard and Highland Avenue

By detecting these various wavelengths separately, photodiode detectors can be used for various applications such as image stabilization and signal detection/processing

Moorpark is a city in Ventura County, California. The population was 9,362 at the 2010 census. Moorpark is located on the banks of the Santa Clara River, about 20 miles (32 km) east of downtown Los Angeles and 35 miles (56 km) north of downtown San Diego. The first permanent settler in Moorpark was James Sperling in 1887. Sperling named his new community after himself, "Moor Park," after his home town in Scotland. In 1907, a group of businessmen from Redlands founded the Jardine & Murdoch Company which operated a flour mill and paper mill at what is now 255 Wornall Ave. For many years, it was one of Southern California's leading retail businesses with its own store frontage on two blocks of southbound Ventura Boulevard between First Street and Second Street. In 1958, Jardine & Murdoch merged with Pabst Brewing Corporation to become Pabst Brews Corporation which became part of Anheuser-Busch Incorporated in 1995 when that company was acquired by Budweiser beer fame. In 2006, Pabst Brews Corporation announced that they were ending production at their Moorpark facilities effective September 1st due to declining sales and low employee morale; however, some beers such as Busch Light are still produced there until today under different labels including Weingut Deutsche Hefe und Weizen GmbH & Co KG and First Coast Brewery LLC). As a result of this closure various former Pabst employees were laid off or transferred to other Anheuser-Busch breweries across North America as part of an effort to save jobs within the company overall. On December 12th 2006 Anthony Bourdain attended a private party for Jardine & Murdoch shareholders which included shots for company president Don Flood (former CEO/Chairman emeritus at ABI), vice president Neil Strauss (VP marketing), treasurer Charles Fenton III (CFO/ Controller), director Tony Viscardi (Director Corporate Development) among others; prior to this event bourdain had written several negative articles about Anheuser-Busch BrewingCorp in Rolling Stone Magazine[1]. There has been much speculation[2] as to why bourdain would want to attend such an event during an election year given that he has previously attacked both Anheuser-Busch&Co., Inc.[3][4] However no evidence suggests that Bourdain had any connection with money orpolitics beyond simply liking brewing companies - instead he may have simply wanted attention from those in charge. Regardless of why Bourdain came,[5], it did nothing but add fuel to conspiracy theories surrounding his visit.[6][7]
