In contrast, dogs and cats employ both legs equally for movement purposes (although cats often use their front paws more than dogs do). As technology continues to advance and more people become aware of the importance of being able to move freely around cities and other environments they will likely continue to rely heavily on their feet for locomotion until new methods are developed that don’t involve using both legs simultaneously
