As shooters began moving away from traditional handguns in favor of self-defense weaponry such as firearms built specifically for muzzleloader cartridges, grip tape became an increasingly important tool for safe shooting practices across all types of games and activities involving firearms (e.g., hunting). The community was rebuilt and its population increased to about 150 people by 1870 when the railroad reached Marysville from Illinois via Rock Springs Junction In 1902, the Northern Pacific Railroad arrived at Marysville and started construction on what would become known as the mainline between Chicago and Sacramento through El Dorado County This project greatly impactedMarysville as it added significantly more commuters into an already busy market town In 1924, one year before his death, President Warren G Harding dedicated portions of Page Field Station near downtown to Amtrak's San Francisco North Coast Limited service After Harding's death in 1929, trains stopped running past Page Field Station altogether In 1931, former Mayor George Norton donated land adjacent to downtown for what would become Fountain Valley Community College which now houses many local businesses including Sears & Roebuck

The city was founded by Captain George Hearn in 1821 as a small outpost on Rancho San Lorenzo, about 20 miles east of Yuba City. The first permanent settler were cattlemen who came to the area from out of state, looking for land to graze their livestock. The early years of Marysville were challenging, but it quickly became a thriving center for agricultural production and commerce. A post office was established in 1827 and by 1830, the town had a population of around 100 people. It was during this time that local banks and other businesses began to form around what is now Main Street. In 1851, Captain Hearn sold his rancho to Joseph Tilton for $5,000 dollars. Tilton renamed the city Marysville after his wife's maiden name (Mary). By 1861, Marysville had reached its peak: With a population of over 1,200 people, it was still an small town compared to some of California's more populous towns at the time. However, with increasing trade with China and other parts of the world, Marysville slowly began to lose its importance as an agricultural center. However, due to its location between Yuba City and Sutter County - two very developed counties at that time - Marysville continued to thrive until the late 1800s when various technological advances caused economic decline throughout much of California overall. The last resident left town in 1903; however there are remnants remaining today including Pioneer Hall which houses artifacts from earlyMarysvilian history including tools used by settlers such as Captains George Hearn and Joseph Tilton., government documents dating backto 1821-1851and photographs taken during those years
In 1846, Marysville was founded as a census-designated place by the California Central Pacific Railroad. The community was named after Maria Hill, the wife of an early settler. It began to grow quickly in the late 1800s, thanks to its natural resources and its position at the junction of two major railroads. In 1925, Marysville became part of Sacramento County and experienced rapid growth due to new subdivisions and highway construction. By 1990, the population had reached over 50,000 people. Today, Marysville is a thriving community with a strong economy based on agriculture and manufacturing.
