However these days things have generally slowed down somewhat with most recently construction taking place primarily inside municipally-owned properties rather than outside onto public beaches like former plans called for... though some new projects are starting to emerge including One Maritime Place just south of I-5 about midway between Downtown Los Angeles and Seal Cove which will include 3 floors commercial space atop an existing marinaship used mainly for pleasure boats docking nearby while also providing access to several miles (about 6 kilometers) long sandy beach extending inland towards Islay Harbor -containing residences, shops etc... suitable for both luxury yacht charters as well as more general use by locals & tourists alike!
