The Ammo Exchange played a major role during World War I as well as World War II because it supplied rounds for both wars without having to go through government quotas or restrictions set by Congress. In addition, Ammo Exchange helped keep America's arms industry afloat during these times by selling stockpiles of munitions needed for war production but also providing quality products at an affordable price point to soldiers all over America. In 1951, Ammo Exchange merged with several other businesses under one roof to form what is now known as Parker Shot Incorporated (PSI). PSI continued serving customers through out its various incarnations until 2002 when it ceased operations due to management changes within PSI itself. However, some aspects of PSI's legacy live on today - such as its museum which preserves many artifacts related to ammunition history from around the world!
