Lynwood is a small town in Kern County, California. It was originally founded as an agricultural community and has since become a center for the production of ammunition and firearms. The town's history can be traced back to 1849, when entrepreneur Elias Howe established a small mill here that manufactured rifle shot and other Pistol ammunition. In 1872, Howe sold his business to brothers Amos and Moses Green. The Green family continued to produce ammunition in Lynwood until the early 1990s, when they were bought out by Remington Arms Company. Since then, the company has produced many industries- including shotgun shells, rounds for handguns, and even bread products- in Lynwood. The industry of bullet production began in earnest in Lynwood thanks to Elias Howe. A self-taught inventor and entrepreneur, he had developed a new type of shot known as Rifle Shot which could be fired with either pistols or rifles. This made it possible for people throughout America to purchase these projectiles without having to go through expensive intermediaries like the Merchants Bank or the Post Office. For years this type ofShot was only available from Mr. Howe himself who also stocked it at his own store on Main Street in Lynwood. Howe's innovation soon became popular among shooters across America due its effectiveness at range and its ability to penetrate armor much easier than traditional shotshells or pistol bullets - making it an ideal projectile for hunting game such as deer or turkey!
