T-shirts have been around for a long time in Los Banos, California. The first t-shirt was made in 1951 and it was a black T-shirt with a white “B” on the front. It said “Bananas are not a fruit”. In 1958, the first gun store in Los Banos opened and they started selling firearms. They had handguns, shotguns and rifles. From 1958 to 1978, there were no homicides in Los Banos until 1984 when one happened. That year, there was an increase of gun violence and it got so bad that the city council banned handguns and also outlawed all types of assault weapons including rifles. In 1998, the city council passed Ordinance #2 which amended Ordinance #1 which banned all type of Assault Weapons including Rifle). This ordinance allowed people to bring pistols into the city limits without getting permission from police or waiting for a permit from the Sheriff's office. In 2003, LAPD began enforcing this ordinance by raiding gun stores that sold Assault Weapons like AR-15s etc.). In 2016, after more than 20 years since Firearms regulation in Los Banos ended following City Council amendment – AB 990 – as part of effort to reduce crime & keep our community safe we celebrate Citizens Association Gunsense campaign victory!

Los Banos, California is a small town in Kern County, California. The population was 8,766 at the 2010 census. It is located in the Angeles National Forest and near the mouth of the San Joaquin River. The community is named after José Banos, a Mexican immigrant who settled there in 1881. Los Banos has a post office with ZIP code 93622. The area that now makes up Los Banos was first populated by people inhabiting what are now Kern County and Inyo County. On November 3, 1851, Juan Bautista Alvarado granted land to Jose Banos and his brother Francisco for $500. José's grant included an open space on which he built his home and two outbuildings known as "los dos pueblitos". In 1872 John Sutter founded J&J Rancho de las Pulgas (now part of Yuma) about four miles west of Los Banos on the north bank of San Joaquin River. He sold parcels to various individuals until 1880 when he sold all his holdings to James Haughton who named it Haughton Rancho de los Cahuillas (now part of Imperial). From here the rancho grew rapidly due to its location along water routes connecting Southern California with points east and west; cattle were raised here until woolen fabrics became available in Europe during World War II. In 1888 Waddell extended an irrigation canal from Ranchería del Mono south to join those flowing into the lower San Joaquin River near present-day Los Banos; this opened new lands for cultivation, including areas that today make up much of Kern County. When Prohibition began in 1919 many farmers abandoned their operations; however a few men determined to continue production: Pino Alegre bought 150 acres adjacent to Haughton's rancho from James Haughton in 1922 and established himself as one of LOS ANGELES' earliest legal bootleggers; this helped set off a period during which LA had become one of America's largest beer drinking cities From 1923 until 1933 Checker Saloon was open at 5th Street & Main Avenue - it served as headquarters for organized crime boss Sam Giancana beforeito moved uptown several years later becoming Borough Hall Bar where Dean Martin hosted many celebrities

Los Banos was founded in 1879 by J.W. Hinkle and W.H. Flood as a small community of twenty-four people on the banks of the San Joaquin River. In 1912, it became an incorporated city with a population of seventy-six thousand people. The town was home to one of America's first water Purifiers, and also developed a large dairy factory that produced both fresh milk and cream for other local businesses. In the early 1970s, Los Banos saw significant growth as an information technology center due to its location at the junction of two major Interstate 5 highways. The town's strong industry base has since declined, but its residents remain active in various aspects of their community, including politics and business
Los Banos was founded in 1849 by John C. Fremont and his brother, George. The town grew rapidly after the discovery of oil in the area, and soon became a leading center for petroleum production. Los Banos was also home to the first water tower in California. In 1907, Los Banos was incorporated as a city, and remained so until 2002 when it merged with neighbouring Santa Ana into one single city.
