A rifle may be self-loading (automatic loading by hitting a trigger when you pull the receiver), muzzleloader (loading Rounds into The Barrel using an unloaded cartridge), breechloading (Loading Rounds into The Barrel By Firing Them Into An Open Hole In The Stock Of Another Weapon Before You Chamber The Round To Your Rifle), or rifled (. The Lodi Rifle and Pistol Club was founded in 1898. It is the oldest rifle and pistol club in California. The first gun was a sixguns dueling pistols made by George Wickersham of Stockton, California. In 1906, the Lodi Rifle and Pistol Club became affiliated with the NRA.

Lodi, California is a small town located in the Inland Empire in the San Bernardino County region of Southern California. The population was 362 at the 2010 census, down from 474 at the 2000 census. The first people to live here were Athabascans who hunted and gathered game near what is now downtown Lodi. They built small villages around these villages until about 1835 when they left for unknown reasons. In 1849, José Antonio Yorba founded Rancho Los Nietos just west of present day Lodi. This rancho was part of Rancho San Gabriel which encompassed much of what is today Inland Empire including Lodi and other towns in southeastern Riverside County. The original grantees were Juan Bautista Cabrillo and Teodoro de Anza with an area that extended east to modern-day Fillmore and parts of Orange County. In 1861, following the Mexican-American War, Ulysses S Grant awarded Rancho Los Nietos to his brother-in-law David Waddell as part of General Grant’s Four Hundred Battalion cavalry regiment earmarked for service in the American Civil War. On July 1, 1865 – one year after Lincoln’s assassination – Waddell sold his interest in Rancho Los Nietos to James Irvine for $1,500 cash plus 10 shares of stock in Jardine & Co., druggists and merchants on Wall Street whose stores would soon be key players in Lodi’s economic development (see also: The Development of Downtown Lodi). An early civic group formed during this time was “The Citizens Committee on Restaurants” which promoted horseback riding trails through town so that citizens could access natural resources such as water reserves not easily accessible by foot or carriage; founding members included George Mazon (founder/director/president - later Chairman Emeritus -of Jardine & Co.), Fenton Christensen (businessman), Hiram Bingham ( Mayor 1920–26), Mrs. Houghton Potter Hinton (Mrs. Alfred Payson Harriman) and Mrs. John Daugherty Farley (Mrs Howe). By 1876 there were 14 businesses open inside Main Street between First Avenue southward to Second Street and Park Avenue northward; business growth continued until about 1925 when a combination post office/bank merger led to increased competition among banks within downtown; however some important pioneer businesses still active include Ives Drug Store #1 opened 1886 by Elisha Gray Ives II (forerunner Today's CVS Pharmacy), Diebold Hardware Corporation #2 opened 1923 by Clyde Aiken Diebold Jr., Red Lobster Restaurant #1 1935 by Harry Heinemann Sr., Dr Pepper Snapple Group began operations at their current location 1957 with current owner Ted Schlosser as President
Lodi is a small town in Inyo County, California. It was founded in 1868 by George and Anna Lodi. It was named for Anna Lodi's great-grandfather, Lorenzo de la Riva (1778-1864), who had been elected to the state senate from Mono County in 1851.
