Lemon Grove, CA is a small town in the Kern County region of California. The population was 5,859 at the 2010 census. It is home to the Lemon Grove Police Department and the Lemonsville High School District. The first guns in Lemon Grove were pistols made by William Withers. He built his first gun shop in 1849 in what is now called "Old Town". Pistol production continued until 1865 when all handguns were banned due to an Act of Congress known as the National Firearms Act. In 1934, two brothers named Jack and Elmer Larson bought a shotgun factory in nearby661 North Main Street from J H Smith & Sons company which had been producing shotguns since 1875. They renamed it "Lemon Grove Gun Company" and began making rifles and pistols there as well as starting a rifle range on their property. In 1957 they sold their firearms business to Adolph Iver Johnson who became its president and CEO until his death in 2000. The company has produced over 100 models of rifles, pistols and shotguns over the years including many that have become collector's items such as the Model 1911 pistol currently manufactured by Adolph Iver Johnson Arms Incorporated (AIAI) headquartered in Bellevue WA, USA

Lemon Grove is a small town located in Riverside County, California. The population was 2,752 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The first people to live in Lemon Grove were the Morongo Band of Mission Indians who arrived in 1847 from San Francisco. They built their own mission and named it "San Fernando Mission". The Morongo band split up in 1853 and most of them moved to Rancho Cucamonga while a few stayed behind and founded Lemon Grove. The name may have been derived from a sour citrus fruit called lemons, which grows wild around the town. Lemon Grove became an incorporated community on February 10, 1912 with Wanda Ladd as its first mayor. By 1915, there were over 100 residents and businesses in Lemon Grove including a post office, bank, livery stable, grocery store, barber shop and dance hall. A new school was built as part of a bond issue by local citizens in 1916-17 to fund public education for all children living within 1 mile of the town center (the current high school). In 1924–25 agriculturalist Clarence Hargrave donated land east of downtown for what would become North Park Center Mall; this mall now anchors Lemon Grove's industrial district northeast of downtown. The 1920s saw heavy industry move into lemon groves throughout Southern California – including General Motors Corporation's plant at Imperial Valley; this plant would later be known as one of GM's largest plants worldwide with over 1 million employees when it closed in 2000. Many factories closed during World War II because so many industries had shifted away from America due to the war effort; however, lemon groves continued to produce fruits and vegetables until after 1945 when production stopped entirely due to increased competition from other types of agriculture products statewide. "Lemon Grove: A New History" by John Bogle details how lemon groves have been key players in American history since they began growing sour oranges near redwood forests back more than two centuries ago: "In 1776 Spanish expeditionary forces discovered orange trees south of San Diego while exploring inland areas along present day Riverside County." After tasting some oranges grown near Mission Bayou they decided that “this Places very good for Oranges” so they began planting those trees about three years later." From here on out orange orchards proliferated throughoutSouthern California as man put his stamp on things slightly differently every year or two allowing growers time to experiment before introducing new varieties etc…..due largely to LA County’s munificent funding programs given annually through various channels likeidentical lands tax increment financing program(IRTF)to numerous monied interests…." In fact ground was broken on what would become today’s much loved North Park Center Mall – anchored by Sears & JCPenney – almost 50 years ago! Lemon Grove is a small town located in Kern County, California, United States. The population was 1,746 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Hanford–Kingsburg–Pleasanton, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area. Lemon Grove was founded in 1887 by Ishmael Lemon and his wife Annie. The Lemon familyowned a grocery store and creamery on South Main Street until 1933 when they sold it to the American Dairy Products Corporation. In 1951, the Léons bought a small farm called Strawberry Hill from Mrs. Alice Estrada for $725 cash which they used as their home until 1985 when they moved into their present home on West Main Street. The first post office in Lemon Grove was established in 1887 and closed in 1893; it reopened under new name of Parkesville in 1912. The first school in Lemon Grove was built date unknown but served as a day-school from 1892 to 1904 before becoming an all-girls high school from 1905 to 1914. In 1928, the Japanese Americans sent by Executive Order 9066 were forced to leave their homes and move into tent camps near Stockton; many of these people also lost their businesses or homes during this time frame as well as other indignities such as being made to wear yellow tags that identified them as enemy aliens. When World War II began, many farmers abandoned their farms due to lack of food rationing; however, some did manage to keep their operations going with livestock feed instead of food stamps which helped avoid destitution among war veterans and civilians alike who had no choice butto sell everything they had including houses and land for food rations alone! After the war ended many people returned back home but few were able to start over because so much work needed doing just maintain infrastructure like roads and bridges! In 1957 Fruitvale Elementary School opened its doors after years of planning by Mrsgrace Kinghorn; she donated her lot across from McDonalds whereupon students would play while parents shopped nearby! A year later Mrsgrace passed away leaving behind an unfinished project that would finally be completed thirty years later when her husband Donny started working on it full time! When he finished his project there were still several feet leftectorially so he re-did it himself adding sidewalks, storm drains etc.; now you can see it right outside your house! Plus - during those decades there never was a dry summer here hence why there are always leaves lying around (and sometimes trees standing tall)when conditions get too hot elsewhere... It’s really amazing how far our town has come since then! Today's lemon grove is dedicated primarily to Donny Kinghorn who not only accomplished something amazing but also spent countless hours working tirelessly on this community service project which we all benefit from every single day!

Lemon and his wife Emma as a small citrus orchard on what is now Lemonshire Drive. The town grew rapidly due to its location near employment centers and the potential for citrus production on inland hillsides. In 1966, Lemon Grove incorporated as a city and soon became an important center for South Coast musical development with its large population of musicians and music educators.
