Lemon Grove is a small town in the San Bernardino Mountains, about an hour east of Los Angeles. It was founded in 1881 by John C. Lemon and his wife, Sarah A. Lemon. The first shotgun factory in California was built here, and it became so successful that other manufacturers followed suit. In 1923, the town incorporated as a city, and gun lights became part of its municipal identity. Gun lights have been used by law enforcement throughout history to warn officers of potential danger or ambush. They are also often used for target practice or during hunter/gatherer ceremonies. Gun lights were traditionally made from metal or plastic with a neon light encased inside the body, but today they are usually made from LED technology and can be customized to fit any need or application. In response to the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut in 2012, several municipalities across the United States began encouraging their residents to buy gunlights as safety devices. Lemon Grove, California is a small town located in central Orange County, California. The population was 7,098 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Anaheim metropolitan area. The name "Lemon Grove" first appeared in 1871 when citrus trees were being grown there on land leased from the military by Captain James Irvine. In 1909, Mayor Harry Hays donated land to the city for public use and renamed it Lemon Grove after himself and his friend Dr. J.B. Lemon, who served as Medical Examiner in Orange County from 1903-1910 and helped establish Fairview Park Cemetery there. The community had its start as a small agricultural village consisting of a few hundred people near what is now Garden Grove Boulevard and Indian Wells Road during the early 1900s. Growth continued during World War II with an influx of workers needed to build defense plants throughout Southern California; most notably Lemongrass Farms on Anaheim Boulevard south of SR 92 (now I-5). Despite this growth, however, Lemon Grove never became truly self-sufficient until after 1945 when it joined other communities within Anaheim's newly formed city limits – all while maintaining its own unique character which has been retained to this day . Today's residents are proud members of their community and enjoy walking or biking around downtown streets filled with historic buildings such as The Gymnasium (1896), Euclid Avenue Methodist Church (1911), Artesian Well Museum (1920), Luther Burbank Theatre Annex (1926), Fire Station #2 (1945) and many more!

One of the earliest gun lights was designed by Nicholas-Jacques Conte, who also invented the modern lighthouse. In 1818, Conte designed and built the first practical gun light, which he called the Lighthouse-Gunsights Light. The design featured a small lens placed over a cannon barrel, allowing it to emit an intermittent light signal from its muzzle while cruising through night skies. This type of light became popular among navies and coastal towns alike and was eventually replaced by more reliable lanterns in the 1840s.

Lemon Grove is a small town in Orange County, California. The population was 1,852 at the 2010 census. It is located on the southeast side of Anaheim, on U.S. Route 101 between SR-101 and SR-2 (the former routing of State Route 192). The name "Lemon Grove" comes from two Spanish words: lemón and grano, meaning "fruit." The first mention of Lemon Grove as a place was in 1868 when it was part of Rancho San Clemente. In 1892, the town became known as Lemon Valley because citrus trees were being grown there then. The first post office opened in 1897. From 1903 to 1911, the name changed to Lemon Hill because the hills around it reminded people of lemon trees or hillocks in Spain. In 1922, much development took place near where today's town center stands; this included the construction of what is now Orange County Regional Airport and several other developments including Villa Park which still retains its original architecture and layout today. On January 17th, 1927 – just over one hundred years after incorporation – Lemon Grove had its official opening with Mayor Ethel Barnes presiding over proceedings from her home on Main Street. Incorporation papers were filed by P H Burnett & Sons general store operators Harry Burnett (Harry) and wife Edith Burnett who donated $1 per capita for incorporation purposes as well as treasurer Don Fowler ($5). The following year saw another milestone when fire destroyed one third of downtown business; only three months later however all but two buildings remained standing due to donations by residents W F O'Donnell ($10), Mrs D A Whitehead ($15) and James McNamara($25) who each contributed $50 towards reconstruction efforts that reopened with Banquet Hall back open for business on July 3rd 1928! In 1930 local vocalist/pianist Frank Zappa moved to nearby Huntington Beach from his native Larkspur where he resided since 1917 while attending school then working odd jobs during his free time until he met Jay Hawkins who convinced him to move up Heretofore unknown Instrumental Music talent right here in Anaheim CA! By 1941 under guidance by future supervisor Waltraud Zimmermann (Waltraud later became Manager/Director / CEO @ Disney animation studios) lemon grove had reached an all time high population with over 2200 citizens present enjoying growth opportunities like shopping at new liquor stores opening up along US 101 northampton Drive called “Disneyland” just outside town limits! Post War era brought increased traffic through I-405 ; resulting in less available land for village expansion however many homes being torn down for lack of space still standing today Some newer properties have been leased out for residential use such as “Hollywood Hills Place” which overlooks Disneyland Resort property
