Afterward there seemed to be no end to annexation requests from other municipalities throughout San Diego County until 1955 when all but one were disallowed because they did not have a population over 10K according to county regulations at that time In 1957-1958 only two more municipalities – Escondido and Ridgefield – were added while all but one (Port Huron) of the seven original townships inside San Diego County remained unchanged save for their name change or incorporation into new cities/cities- Alhambra (1957), Avenida de la Costa (1959), Balboa Park (1963), Carlsbad (1969), Chula Vista (1975), Escondido (1981), Fallbrook Heights (1983) and La Mesa Heights (1985). By 1984 all except Fallbrook Heights had become City of Industry with Fallbrook Heights reincorporating as a city in 1995 after being annexed by Industry from Scripps Ranch Unified School District − which had been dissolved as part of Proposition 204 − . It should also be noted that many former villages within San Diego County − such as Agriculture Village east of SDLY high school boundaries and Mayfair west of those boundaries − have simply disappeared without any trace leaving behind only their namesakes still extant− Beaumont Village outside Unitarian Universalist Church on State Route 522 remains largely unchanged since 1951 despite being surrounded by several neighborhoods including La Jolla University Drive , SpringHill development off Interstate 15 just south of SpringHill Plaza shopping center and housing developments built on old agricultural land adjacent to Interstate 15 Padres Golf Course
