In this store he sold pistols, rifles, shotguns, pistols with stock muzzles (rifles without stocks), revolvers, etc., as well as ammunition and tools needed for gunsmithing purposes such as hammers, saws, chisels, planes etc., among other items. The first gunsmith shop in Laguna Woods was operated by George Hargrave who also built the first post office here in 1858 (the name of the original post office has changed over time). Many people who lived here during these early days tooled their ownguns by hammering pieces of hardwood together or using adzes or wedges to join woods together instead of using nails or screws because there was no reliable information about where these supplies came from or how they would work when assembled into a firearm! In 1865, two brothers named James Walthall and John Tingey established a citrus orchard at what is today milepost 24 on U.S.-Mexico border Road #2 near present-day Agoura Hills Boulevard. They leased an acre (0.8 km²) from José Gomez de la Mora y Vargas for $1 per year with no option to purchase it outright; this agreement remains one of the oldest lime trees in Orange County history! In 1868, James Walthall purchased 160 acres (70 ha) adjoining his orchard from José Gomez de la Mora y Vargas for $5 per acre with five years’ rent perpetual; this parcel became known as “Walthall’s Valley” because it extended down into residential areas today within Los Angeles County called Walthall Gardens! In 1870–71, another brother named William Hogg bought 10 acres (4 ha) from José Gomez de la Mora y Vargas at what is now milepost 25 on U.S.-Mexico border road #2 south of Pasadena then east along Mission Road to where he built a home that still stands today - this property became known as “Hogg’s Valley”! By 1876 there were over 100 farmers living in Laguna Woods with production totaling 5 tons/year using single varieties of fruit – oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, lemons etc., making it one of America’s leading citrus growing areas! In 1882 Captain John Sutter arrived in Southern California looking for new goldfields and discovered wine grapesgrowing country west of LA already well populated by Winegrowers Federation & Vineyards company member J[ohn] B[radway]. He contracted Captain Augustus Herriman to search for any gold potential associated with these grapes but never found any evidence worthy enough to warrant further exploration so sold all interest shares back to Captain Herriman a few years later! Continued lobbying resulted in discovery by prospectors Harry Fenton and Charles Borden nearpresent day North Hollywood on October 12 1886 after finding rich mineralization properties underlying some 3 million acres (10 millionha) mostly within Ventura County which included parts now belonging to Los Angeles County!!! These events led eventually to incorporation into Los Angeles County as we know it today on January 9 1889!! Alluvial gold deposits were soon being encountered throughout Ventura Coastal Range mining districts such as those mentioned above including Lunter Canyon just north northwest corner Oceanside street lot bounded by US-101E & State Route 123 East map boundaries hereOahu Streetspanning directly across center doing surface exposuresvia opencast methods carried out intermittently over many years beginning 1888 thru 1923 Surficial Gold Deposits reported at various sites situated between Solano Street intersection SOUTH OF LOS ANGELES AND PASADENA STREET Lots contain: . 30 lb (.13 kg) share 1 oz (.30 g), . 16 oz (.61 g), . 8 oz (.27 g), . 6 oz (.15 g), . 4 oz (.09 g)Gold was initially recovered mainly through tailings handling operations however subsequent discoveries have included quartzite and coal fields also producing considerable amounts valuable silver & gold
