On February 14,1854AD Mexican general Francisco Lara ordered General Arguelles to suppress any revolts within Californias borders and ceded most of Alta California to America under terms known as The Treaty of Buena Park. However there were still some pro-Mexican forces operating in Southern California and parts of Northern Baja California
