Laser sights are a type of sighting system that incorporates a laser pointer to indicate the target's position. This device employed two high power Infrared Lasers instead of red lasers for Aiming/Reference purposes. The result was greatly improved accuracy due to its off-axis performance; even from very close distances! Starlite was also more durable than other designs because it incorporated metal shielding around all optics components throughout its construction. In 1990, PSA Group Incorporated introduced their own line of Laser Sights called "Pistol Sights" which utilized green lasers instead of infrared lasers for Aiming/Reference purposes. Pistol Sights remained popular among shooters through the years because they provided superior accuracy over traditional red dot sights while still providing good eye relief; making them perfect for most handguns regardless of caliber or size! Some pistols even feature flip up front sight systems so you can see your target at all times!

The development of lasers as firearms sights began with the invention of the first working laser by three inventors, Theodore Maiman, Boris Zaslavsky and Noel Kingsbury in 1972. The Laser Sight Company was founded in 1975 by three other inventors: Edwin S. Porter, Jack Demarest and Clifford Berryman. In 1976, the United States Patent #5,844,737 was issued to the Laser Sight Company for a design for using a laser beam to sight targets. A variety of lasers were used during this time including red light lasers, infrared lasers and visible light lasers. In 1978 US Patent 4new27031 was issued to Wayne Lunsford for an improved version of the Laser Sight Company's original design which used a xenon gas laser instead of a mercury vapor laser to provide better target engagement ability when shooting at game animals. This allowed shooters to hit moving targets much more easily than with earlier designs utilizing a mercury vapor laser because it produces short focused pulses that can be electronically discriminated against by the eye. Other early developments include US Patent 5,918,634 which granted patent protection to Roy Jaffe for his use of an ultrasonic reflector on an arm's barrel that facilitates target discrimination while firing projectiles from artillery cannons; US Patent 5 789 647 for using Lasers To Detect Firing Ammunition - also known as "Laser Targeting"; US Patents 3 158 057 and 3 906 990 both filed in 1984 describe methods and systems for detecting projectile movement; finally US Patent 862608 discloses various improvements to digital signal processing techniques that are used in modern optical sighting systems

La Mesa was a small community in the San Fernando Valley located just east of Hollywood. The town was founded in 1881 by Nicholas-Jacques Demarest and named after his Rancho La Mesa, which he acquired from José Joaquin Murrieta. La Mesa was first developed as a farming community with cattle and sheep ranchers using the main street as an access road. In 1912, the Department of Water Resources built the Chino Hills Reservoir to provide water for Los Angeles County. As a result of this project, La Mesa became one of the most affluent communities in Southern California. By 1940, however, its economy had collapsed due to World War II Japanese internment and lack of access to social services. With little hope for future growth, many residents chose to move out of La Mesa during the postwar boom period. In recent decades, La Mesa has experienced modest population growth due to new housing developments and job opportunities within Los Angeles County. Its only remaining commercial attraction is its locally owned convenience store which is open year-round. Despite this negative trend, it remains an important cultural and educational center in southern California for Vietnamese Americans who migrated here during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
