From the 1860s until the present day, La Habra has been a focal point for knife manufacturing and marketing. Apart from developing successful products, it was also through partnerships that SWC acquired some of the biggest names inknife manufacturing: Boker AG in Germany in 1959; Hogue Knives in 1978; ColumbiaKnivesUSA in 1987; Asian Trading Corporation (ATCC) in 1995; Canuck Knife Works Incorporated (later Canuck Custom Knives) in 2002; Stonington USA LLC (later Stone & Sharp) in 2006; and finally Becker International GmbH & Co KG (later Becksmith) in 2013. These partnerships allowed SWC to build up an extensive product portfolio spanning many different segments ofthe knife market including tactical/combatknifes、 hunter’s tools\/outdoors gear、home defense\/self-defense knifes、police duty tools\/emergency response supplies ― all while remaining relatively small relativeto their competitors. This strategy has paid off over time: Today SWC enjoys considerable global recognition for its high-quality knives products ― even being sold abroad!

The city of La Habra, California is located in southern Orange County and is the most populous municipality in the county. According to the 2010 census, La Habra has a population of 97,821. The city's boundaries are defined by State Route 162 (SR 162) and SR 158. La Habra is bordered by Mission Viejo to the north and east, Huntington Beach to the south and west, and Laguna Niguel to the northwest. La Habra was founded on December 20th 1887 by American citizens Jens Jensen (1848-1914), Ole Hansen (1860-1934), August Nielsen (1862-1945), Wulf Olsen (1864-1933), Rasmus Christensen (1875-1965) and Peder Severin Munch Pedersen(1797-1865). At first it was called Spanish Villa de la Bahia de los Angeles. The town was named after General Antonio Fortunato Lamarilla y Lasalle who led Mexican forces against Ute warriors at Rancho San Pedro in 1847. In 1888 Captain William Tatum built a small townsite near present day City Hall which became known as "Tatumville". In 1894 Captain George Hargrave purchased 1/4 mile of what would becomepresent day Market Street from John Schieffer for $2 per acre. On January 8th 1895 Captain Hargrave sold 1/4 mile of what would becomepresent day Market Street to Lewis Gaffney for $3 per acre also payable over time with an option to purchase at any time up to 10 acres at $5 per acre also payable over time with an option to purchase at any time up to 50 acres at $10 per acre also payable over time with an option to purchase 100 acres or more at $15 per acre . In 1897 Captain George Hargrave subdivided 1/4 mile of present day Market Street into 4 blocks which became known as "Hague Block" - "Haag Block", "Jensen Block", "Olsen Block" and "Munch Pedersen block". These blocks were bounded on one side by 3rd Avenue, on another side by 5th Avenue, and on the remaining side by 6th Avenue. On July 15th 1898 A&P store opened within now defunct Donahue's department store & later became Macy's flagship store before being bought out by Sears Roebuck in 1957. On October 17th 1898 El Cerrito del Norte mine opened within present day City Hall Park which produced gold ore until 1922 when it closed due to environmental concerns following mining operations that created extensive surface archeological evidence . This event marked significant progress for citrus farming in Southern California as well as marking significant progress for La Habra when it came to becoming one of America’s leading citrus cities . According To TheCityofLAHABRA website “The HaagBlock subdivision laid out in 1897 included four blocks: Haleblock; JensenBlock; OlsenBlock; and Munch Pedersen block which today make up much of downtown LAHABRA... All these blocks lay out during a period where orange growing got serious because this land had been used for horses ever since Juan Rodríguez discovered yellow oleander hereabouts back around 1800’s” In 1901 Tatumville changed its name again but this time it was given its current moniker – La Habra – after General Antonio Fortunato Lamarilla y lasalle who fought against Ute warriors during Mexican War era while living in nearby Orange County . After General Lamarilla’s death his widow decided that her husband should be honored so she donated all their possessions including 5 bedrooms & 7 bathrooms plus 2 cannons & other munitions stored away behind their home…the townspeople voted unanimously Oct 13 1902 naming their new settlement “Lahabrea” meaning honorific gift from Mrs Antonio Fortunato Lamarilla y lasalle towards those helping promote development thereabouts In 1910 Ewing Shipbuilding Company moved from Laguna Niguel into local yards just south of Present Day City Hall Park creating new jobs along with increasing trade between Southern California ports such as Long Beach & Imperial Beach while metals production continued across country thanks increasingly larger smelters coming online such as Santa Fe Mines near Corona Del Mar while many small businesses thrived throughout including hardware stores cornering 3rd Ave., Phone Warehouse cornering 5th Ave., bakery cornering 6th Ave., dry goods Cornering 7TH Ave., post office Cornering 8TH Ave., gas station Cornering 9TH Ave…..Today still many businesses like these remain active along Today's Streetscape

La Habra is a city in the Southern California region of the United States. It is located on the eastern edge of Los Angeles County and is part of the Riverside–San Bernardino, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 83,898 at the 2010 census. La Habra was founded by Americans in 1864 as "Laguna Beach". In 1907 it became an incorporated town with a population of 23,000. La Habara's name comes from Spanish for "the freshwater bay" and means “place where there are several small rivers which flow into the ocean” (Wikipedia). The city was originally settled by Mexicans who arrived in 1827 from what is now Chihuahua, Mexico. By 1870, all but one block of Laguna Beach were owned or leased to American citizens. In 1912, La Habra became an organized municipality and annexed neighboring communities of Mission Viejo and Ontario. The combined population reached 100,000 by 1940. In 1957-1958, La Habra experienced one of its most intense waves of settlement when thousands upon thousands African Americans migrated to southern California during the Great Migration under President Dwight D Eisenhower's Executive Order No. 9998 called "Operation New Birth." Many businesses that had been closed during World War II reopened after the war ended; however refugees continued to arrive until 1965 when they were finally stopped by federal law enforcement officials following many high profile cases such as King Vidalia v Seaweed (1965) and Baker v Boardwalk Bazaar Incorporated (1966). La Habra has seen a great deal growth in recent decades including 3 annexations:Civic Center Annexation (2007), City Hall Annexation (2008), and Grits Place Annexation(2012). Most notably this growth has come in both its commercial districts like Northridge Boulevard corridor between Laguna beachouue Avenue/Highway 101Wand State Street/UCLA Drive/Foothill Boulevard approaching Interstate 5 Freeway which houses much higher priced real estate than ever before while also making way for new public housing developments such as Vista Azul near downtown with 248 units built since 2006 . This quarter century+ transformation has led to steady job creation along with overall stability within our community despite various challenges posed by various events such as Superstorm Sandy that disrupted business activity & caused extensive damage throughout downtown
