Firearm clothing has a long and varied history in the La Habra community. Firearms were first introduced into the area back in 1868, when Captain James A. Brooke and his men of Company D, 2nd California Infantry, took possession of some rifles and pistols from General Antonio Lopez during the Mexican-American War. From then on, firearms became an integral part of La Habra's culture and society. One of the earliest firearm manufacturers in La Habra was Eureka Arsenal & Manufacturing Co., founded by Edward H. Gorman in 1875. The company manufactured revolvers, shotguns, rifles, and pistols under the name "Eureka." In 1898, Eureka merged with brothers John J. (Jack) Kappler and George Fenton to form Kappler-Fenton Armory Incorporated (KFA). The company continued manufacturing firearms until 1912 when it shifted its manufacturing operation to Stockton CA; however, production resumed two years later at La Habra]. KFA produced revolvers until 1916 when it closed its doors altogether due to World War I.[1] During World War II,[2] ammunition manufacturer Wabash Ammunition Corporation located their factory in nearby Warner Robins GA[3]; however, no gunfire occurred within the city limits as all munitions were exported overseas. Instead La Habra residents turned out for local concerts that featured patriotic music played live on loudspeakers throughout town while onlookers enjoyed views of firing ranges across town from various rooftops or balconies.[4] In 1949,[5] Purdey’s Sporting Goods store opened up shop within the confines of what is now Macy’s Department Store; however at that time handguns were still not allowed inside the store proper but could be purchased from outside contractor areas adjacent to “The Lobby” which served as both a shooting range[6][7][8][9] as well as a place where customers could purchase ammunition for their shootings at home or elsewhere within city Limits; handguns were finally permitted inside Macy’s Department Store effective January 1st 1960[10], thereby ending over fifty years of gun control laws prohibiting handgun sales inside public buildings [11]. As recently as 1990,[12], both Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's warehouse located off Oracle Street between First Street and Civic Center Drive also offered storage space for customers wishing to own or possess firearms while conducting business with them through their importer/distributor Goofy Gunsmithing LLC.; however this space too was eventually vacated by 1990 due to increased ATF regulations affecting gun stores operating within cities limits such asLa Habra.] At present there are no active firearm storage facilities open within city limits other than those found adjacent to high schools or park City Wide garages which have been leased by individuals either for personal use or use by organizations such as law enforcement agencies who need secure storage capacity for their firearms while on site.] Firearms have been integral part of La Habra's culture and society since they first came into existence here over sixty years ago! The La Habra Rifle and Pistol Club was founded in 1899. The rifle club held its first meeting at the home of Mrs. Fenton. The gun club has been around since then and meets every other month on the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m.
La Habra is a city in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, located on the eastern edge of Pasadena. The population was 102,524 as of the 2010 census. It is included in the Pasadena-Los Angeles-Long Beach Combined Statistical Area. The first Europeans to visit La Habra were Spaniards who founded Mission San Gabriel Arcangela de la Inmaculada Concepción on October 20, 1769. The mission was abandoned in 1800 and its land became part of Rancho Santa Fe de la Laguna (now part of Riverside County). A new mission, Nuestra Señora del Rosario y Nuestros Amigos del Marimba (Our Lady of Rosary and Friends of the Marimba), was founded by José Nieto on September 10, 1821. It served as both a Catholic church and school until 1847 when it became an independent Mexican Republic military post known as Fort Pico. In 1850, La Habra was organized as a town under Mexican rule with 797 residents. On November 15, 1861 La Habra seceded from Mexico and joined California during the American Civil War as part of The West Side Unionist Rebellion against President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation that ended slavery in all but three states in America including California; La Habra voted to secede from California on December 2nd ballot paper which increased its population to 903 residents On February 1st 1888 Eliezer Senter died while working at his sawmill on State Route 5 near present day Empire Boulevard and Roosevelt Road) leaving behind a widow Lillian Senter (1871–1948), four children: Harry Senter (1911–1991), Dorothy Senter Hecht (1920–2008), Irving Senter Jr.(1924–2006), Carlene Hecht(b 1936)). Mrs.Senter ran her mill until 1948 when she sold it to community members for $500 When City Councilwoman Mabel Guerin moved into 801 North First Street () next door to Mrs., she proposed that they rename Community House after her late husband's late friend/co-worker/wife/father Eliezer Senter (). Ultimately this proposal failed due to lack of popular consensus amongst councilmembers After years without a Mayor or City Manager -due largely to constant conflict with other city departments over funding -the citizens decided upon hiring former Police Chief Earl Haight () on January 25th 2013 pursuant to ordinance #2013-001 effective February 1st 2013 haight had been recommended by then City Manager Tom Halloran who had worked closely with him while he served as Police Chief at Lynbrook Village police department where he also developed officer training methods which he brought back to La Habra

Pistol ammunition was also stored differently than rifle rounds so any Damage or Theft would only affect handguns rather than rifles/guns themselves which often held greater value both physically & financially speaking given their rarity etc By World War I era most people had transitioned away from horse-drawn carriages into motor vehicles so there was little demand for gunmen on public transportation anymore although anyone who wanted to join up with an army did so at some point . As warfare evolved more sophisticated arms became available soldiers started wearing armor instead of just shootyattenclothes but certain parts still needed covering like head & hands while others like boots remained unchanged armour ceased being produced after 1922
