In 1940, Harry's son-in-law, Cliff Bowers opened another ammunition shop next door and soon enough, both shops were carrying the same product: rifle bullets. Cliff also began selling shotgun shells and shot shells at this time (later expanding into shotgun ammo). Over the years, Cliff added reloading supplies as well as other firearms accessories to his inventory and eventually became one of the most successful Ammo merchants in California. In 1984, Cliff passed away but his legacy continues with his son-in-law Gary Bowers taking over ownership ofthe store. Today, Gary enjoys continuingCliff's legacy by specializing exclusively in rifle bullets, shotgun shells and reloading supplies for all types of shooters!

Polk and his wife Ann who named their land "King City". King City became a separate town on November 5, 1852 when it was annexed into Sacramento.
