To make sure that his new venture would be successful he brought into play some of the most talented engineers and entrepreneurs of his time- including George Westinghouse Jr., Oliver Hazard Perry, Charles Fenton (founder of Drexel Burnham & Co.), and Willis Halsey Whitney- all of whom had earlier helped found Philadelphia's original electric utility company known as Pennsylvania Railroad Company (PRR). The first buildings at 999 S State Street were erected during the early years ofIrvine's growth – this address still stands today as headquarters for Townsquare Media which merged with Time Warner Incorporated in 2014. On December 4th 1903 Jesse married Louise Bird Randolph (1863-1952) with whom he had three children: Ramon Joseph (1895-1978), Lillie Mae Randolph (1898-1982), and Edwin Forrest ("Eddie") Julius Randolph (1902-1986). On February 14th 1907 Jesse made history when he opened up Irwindale Petroleum Company Limited which produced gasoline for cars at its own site northeast of present day Yorba Linda Boulevard/Covina Road along Interstate 5 north of Intersection Street. In 1916 IPCL merged with American Petroleum Corporation to become Chevron USA Incorporation Limited which continued production until 1974 when it merged with Texaco Industries Incorporated creating ChevronTexaco Corporation Limited which continues production today under different ownership ranging fromstate oil companies such as Saudi Aramco plc through BP plc to Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP through its wholly owned subsidiary TransCanada Pipeline Company Ltd.). In 1956 Orange County annexed Riverside into its jurisdiction but remains separate fromIrvine municipally speaking today due largely to historical differences surrounding annexation proceedings
