In 1957, Driscoll Optical Corporation became operational with three locations: one located on Airport Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles; another located near Dodger Stadium off of West Adams Boulevard; and finally an office location on Frazier Street inside the City Hall complex in downtown Los Angeles." "The company grew rapidly due to its innovative products and aggressive marketing efforts," said Don Gaylor from DGC Group who has researched optical history extensively throughout Southern California."
