Today University Place anchors several blocks southof Pioneer Plaza across I5 from Downtown Disney while also providing ample parking for nearly 2 million visitors each year! The Maxim family left the ranch in 1912 to take up farming in nearby Redlands. In 1916, they sold the land to George W. A large shopping mall called "Target" opened near I-5 and Scenic Boulevard across fromCity Hall between 1992 and 1994 but this development failed due to low consumer demand after multiple attempts by developers In 2000/2001 voters approved Measure M ( Proposition A ), which provided money for infrastructure projects such as Highway 91 expansion southward from Upland Road into adjacent neighborhoods including Huntington Park proper - paving over Railroad tracks complete with flyovers leading directly into downtown - connecting Interstate 5 with Veterans Memorial Drive making it easier access to jobs throughout southern Riverside County without having to go out of town or travel through downtown Los Angeles . This project finally took form almost two decades later when construction began on Phase 1 & 2 which will add 4 lanes northbound & southbound off I-5 just past Walnut Street . Phase 3 will rebuild most existing intersections along Hwy 91 between FM 1960 & Centinela Avenue east of Sather BoulevardPhase 4 will include widening I-5 from Torrance Road eastward past Imperial Avenue & reconstructing interchange ramps #4(exit 9) & #6 (exit 7), adding new streets NW side of I-5 just beyond US 101W
