In 1909, the Huntington Beach Pistol Club was formed. The club shot at a local park until 1912 when they purchased land at the current site of Paramount Studios. From then on, the clubhouse and shooting range were located on the property of Paramount Studios. In 1942, Hollywood realizes that it needs more than just people to make movies. It also needed weapons to do so. So, production moved from Culver City to what is now known as Paramount Studios in hopes of finding an adequate shooting range and gun storage area for all those making movies. In 1945, movie star Gene Autry set up his own personal Shooting Range out in Ventura County outside of Los Angeles. This gave other celebrities and movie stars an opportunity to practice their shooting skills without having to worry about where or who would be watching them from home. However, only a few years later this relaxed atmosphere began to change when word spread about how easy it was for people with simple access (whether by invitation or through word-of-mouth) to obtain firearms and ammunition within minutes of arriving at the range. Celebrities quickly realized that no one wanted their name associated with a unsafe firearm practice situation - especially not if they could potentially use that same firearm during a movie shoot! The Gun Ownership Education Foundation (GOEF) was founded in 1978 by Harry Anslinger as part of efforts by the National Rifle Association (NRA) to control firearms ownership and regulation in America. GOEF became involved in attempts by NRA ideologues like David Keeney – then head of GOEF’s research and development branch –to develop “firearm liberalism” which would allow civilians access not just to handguns but also shotguns, rifles, airguns/inflatable bows and even paintball guns! As California passed its new Firearms Regulation Statute in 2002 which made owning & using pistols & revolvers a felony without prior criminal record a requirement for many gun owners both inside & outside California; GOEF responded with lawsuits against various state legislators who had attempted – unsuccessfully –to enact similar legislation into law (& several high-profile NRA members helped fund these lawsuits). In response TO these legal challenges; over 1 400 individuals have joined GOEF since 2002 including key leaders from both major political parties (& many public figures who didn’t want their names published because they support common sense measures like universal background checks before anyone can possess any kind of weapon). These individuals are committed NOT just “to keeping our community safe” BUT also To ending this unconstitutional government censorship once & for all!

Huntington Beach is located on the coast of Dana Point Peninsula, between Newport Beach and Laguna Niguel. The first people to live in what is now Huntington Beach were Native Americans who hunted game along the present-day coastline. In 1855, a group of Spanishmen led by José Baca explored and surveyed part of what is now Huntington Beach.[1] A year later, Captain John T. Hall laid out streets and named them after himself – Calafia Street (later renamed State Street), Mission Boulevard (later renamed Broadway), Grove Avenue (later shortened to Donahue Avenue), and Highland Avenue (now called Pacific Coast Highway). In 1857, following completion of Yerba Buena Cove Railway Line from San Francisco to Redondo Beach via Huntington Park,[2][3] many wealthy Californians moved into the newly developed beach town east of downtown on Dana Point Peninsula. By 1870, almost all of this land had been annexed by Orange County as part as part of its growing population growth. The first post office in this area was established on March 15th1872,[4] with James Caird serving as its first mail carrier.[5] On July 1st 1886[6], Huntington Park opened as a separate municipality adjacent to Irvine with a population of just over 500 inhabitants.[7] The City Council decided against annexing Dana Point Peninsula but did not have time to set up an election before it annexation took place on November 3rd 1886[8]. During World War II much activity took place in nearby Newport Beach due to Navy shipyards being built there during that war period; however no military activity occurred within walking distance or near where Huntington Park now stands[9]. After World War II ended things changed again with many jobs moving into town during the late 1950s through early 1960s when new industries such as electronics became dominant locally[10]. However more recently some heavy industry has turned up around the Port Hueneme Naval Base which makes it difficult for pedestrians or cyclists to move about though so development has slowed down somewhat since then [11]. In recent years there has been significant redevelopment taking place in Downtown including many shops and restaurants reopened/added back onto old buildings; several large multi-unit projects are also under construction nearby including One Dubuque Place - one of only two high-rise developments planned for Orange County since 1994 - which will bring 5 million square feet (.27 million sq ft) of retail space inside an old bus garage next door to Half Moon Bay Aquarium; Tower One - completed in 2013 adjoining CenturyLink Field which will house thousands more jobs when finished;[12][13][14][15][16][17] Finally plans are pending for another large mixed use project at Fifth Third Bank Stadium/Mall across from Harbour Centre which would add 10 acres (40 hectares) land behind it with residential units above ground level plus underground parking facilities totaling 120 spaces
